I have a very early production SA-35 and sent it to BH Spring Solutions. They fixed the issues I had with it and did a refinish job on it while there. I was very satisfied with their efforts: The grips are from Hogue and it now wears a set of night sights from Springfield. Mike

I've been using .38 Special from Defender Ammo. If you buy 1000 rounds, it prices out at 38¢ per round. I've been using their .45 Colt, too, and everything has been flawless. They're veteran owned, too, so, for me, that's a plus. Mike

I have three Colt SAAs I've never fired. Their former caretakers didn't fire them, either. All have their original boxes/paperwork I also have a M-1D in it's DCM box with all of its accessories still seal in the original packaging. Mike

I've wrapped the firearms with wax paper (wax side out) and placed it in the holster. The process can be sped up by placing it in the sun for an hour or so. Mike

You're right about the letter and I have one. I could sure be wrong but I think only their master engravers "sign" their work. On the Custom Shops web page, you can specify a master engraver to do your work and, as you can imagine, it's pretty spendy. Mike
