Sorry to hear that. Next month I'll be installing my Holosun optic. What your describing happened to to me with this SIG, only the "screw sheared" after about 550rnds. Quick turn around by SIG, put a C&H optic plate on and so far zero issues.

Your right Rick, your Cerakote job does look good. Cerakote is something I've thought about learning about in the past, but never made the investment.

Agreed! He probably does have legitimate gripe. As I stated in my opening statement, "I've had very, very few problems with Springfield products". Soooooo, this is what I ordered this morning...

I had a bad, very bad experience with the FN-FS9. so much so that I never want an FN in the gun safe again. However, maybe their 10mm will be the best of the bunch. I'll stick with Springfield.

Have to admit, this is the first bad review on this handgun I've seen. What concerns me most is the response from Springfield. NOT good! Just curious, have you installed an optic?

Seems you have considerable experience with 10mm handguns. This is what I was looking for, someone with first hand knowledge. You bring up the grip safety, apparently it's a feature that people have no opinion about, or they don't like it at all. For me, it's a non-issue. Sportsman's Wearhouse...
