I just got the RDS on my XDm 10. I didn't like the dragonfly so I bought a Vortex Viper and got it in today.

I got to chrono the Browning 10MM 180 gr. X-Point ammunition to day. One of my friends brought his chrono to the range. I got a low of 1191 and high of 1215 fps. very consistent. I didn't take any pictures. I also checked some Sig M-17, 124 gr. NATO thru a P320 1180 to 1220 fps.

Why?

It's not a big deal, but makes your pistol look special.

This past Sunday I took my XDm to the range again. This time I had the Browning X-Point 180gr to shoot. Whew! That stuff is hot... The commercial reloads I had before were not as potent. I shot a good bit of Underwood before, thru a glock g20. The Underwood has nothing on this stuff. The XDm...

I have the DragonFly for it. I didn't get the adapter plate, so I'm waiting for it now. It didn't occur to me that Springfield wouldn't make the optic to fit their own pistol, so now I'm waiting on the USPS to deliver one.

I took my new XDm to the range Sunday morning. My first magazine convinced me I had made a good choice. I have been a Sig Sauer fancier since I was issued and depended on a P226 from my agency in 1985. I now have 14 or 15 Sigs of various sizes and calibers. This is the first non-Sig I've owned...

I've tried both Buffalo Bore and Underwood, in 10MM and 45ACP and I prefer Underwood. The performance is equitable, but the Underwood was a better buy, (Cheaper).

Ok, I rarely admit this, but I own a Sccy CX2(?). $156.00. It shoots well, but has a terrible trigger pull.

I carried a Sig P226 for the local police department for many years. I was issued 3 - 15 round magazines and 46 rounds, so I could re-fill (or top off) the magazine. I still do that for my EDC. At the range I just shoot a magazine. I don't see a need to top it off there.
