Yeah thought about doing that a couple times but just didn't. I have the original XD-M 3.8 full grip and wanted the same but in the Elite OSP. Oh well.
The 45 position would be the fire position. So are you saying it fires when on SAFE?
My Victor also came with the 45° ambi and it works like it's designed.
Agree, hasn't been out a year yet but am also looking forward to a compact version, hopefully a 3.6, 3.7, or 3.8" barrel length.. Good to see they're finally starting to add color options (in regards to the frame).
It appears SA has added colored grip frames for the Echelon. https://store.springfield-armory.com/echelon-grip-module/
FDE and OD (as well as black) are listed. Hopefully Gray will be added soon. As of now only the OD (green) Medium size with Standard texture is available
If you're referring to the slide rails in the frame I can see the front and rear are metal. The front locking block appears to have metal injection molding marks or casting. The rear is definitely MIM as the marks are very apparent.
The Scout Squad I think is the do-it-all M1A. But they're not known for their accuracy, probably because of the picatinny scout mount attached to the barrel.
Belt Fed, it looks great. I'm liking that gray frame 👍. I'm seriously considering one. I noticed that the specs state the frame width is 1.1", a Hellcat is 1", an Echelon is 1.2", and a G19 is something like 1.26-1.3", how's it feel in the hand?
I've read about the 6.02x41 before and does appear to be a better round than the 5.45x39 but I think Russia can't afford to change right now. We'll see.
