Thank you for the range report and your opinion. Coming from someone who owns both that is much appreciated. I'm still leaning toward the Ronin. Partly because i don't yet own a 2 tone 1911, and after considering your thoughts on the 2 of them.

No plastic trigger, and no front serrations.. I was planning to buy a Ronin, now im not sure. I like the Garrison, and about the same price.

That makes no sense at all... They probably didnt even know that Glocks/XDs/M&Ps/etc were "polymer" framed guns.. Thats one of the things that really bothers me about gun grabbing anti 2A politicians. They aim to strip us of our Constitutional Rights without even taking the time to find out...

Those are nice... But i like the SA cross cannon symbol. The Ronin comes with nice grips that have that on them.. I just like the ones in question better.

It wasn't the Company itself, but higher up executives within the Company donating to anti 2A Democrat campaigns. Thats certainly their right to do so.. But i stopped helping pay their salaries.. Bummer too, cause i liked the coffee. Them being Vet owned, and their track record of hiring Vets..

I guess what he means is.. Even tho they are on the other side of the spectrum, they also put their politics front and center ?

The XD line is made in Croatia.. I think that is a negative to some people. I would rather they be made in USA. But i have 2 of them, they are 100% reliable..and i like them..

I used to go to the newer indoor range in my area quite a bit, before i joined my local Fish and Game Club. It has all the modern air filtration. Downside to that place..is you can only use ammo purchased from them. They sell reloaded stuff from Precision Cartridge in Indiana. It is good...

I have been looking at those for a while. They get very good reviews. They are standard issue for alot of Turkish Military and LEOs. Have never shot one, but had the opportunity to handle, and dry fire one at my LGS. Felt great in the hand, and had a very nice trigger for a striker gun.

Thats about 420 mil after taxes. Form Corp/trust to protect it. Then move to Ft Lauderdale (kids and grandkids too..or i would miss them) Buy a house on one of the Intracoastal channels. Buy a nice boat, Pier fish, ride my Harley back and forth thru the Keys from there to Key West. And work...
