    Suggestion: Seafoam I add a cup to two gallons of unleaded gas, NO Alcohol. My chainsaws can sit for 2 years and still start. Another hint: Fogging oil. Pull spark plugs and spray into the cylinder. It limits ring and cylinder wear on startup after storage...

    I use Howard Leight that are at least 10 years old. I use lithium batteries which seem to last longer and so far don't corrode. Lithium batteries have no sag time so carry spares.

    I would not use blue loctite as it is too strong and would likely need to be heated to remove. Some like 222 would be a better choice...
