The lady's weapon isn't just pink on the inside

Springfield 'manuals' vs. the "Armory" publication print quality ?

LOL, now you've done it....even my bench mat has more better print quality than the hard copy I could get from Springfield: I'm sure the humor-impaired will tell me what I'm doing wrong and that the new way is better. LOL

Springfield 'manuals' vs. the "Armory" publication print quality ?

Especially at night. You can't even see them. It looks like an assault flame thrower Actually, I technically mis-spoke. My buddy reminded me that one of my shotguns is black. too. (Pisses me off. I didn't even know he reads here, and he was one of the guys giving me sh-poop)

Springfield 'manuals' vs. the "Armory" publication print quality ?

Yep. Exactly. This is my first black rifle. The plan is to fool around with it and leave it at this house and then build one to use when we're in the other place.

Springfield 'manuals' vs. the "Armory" publication print quality ?

Do you REALLY think you're proving your point over and over and over ? This is a discussion forum, but I guess a narcisstic person would think it's an argument forum. Keep proving your point. I'll keep showing you're closed-minded if I continue to listen to you prove your point over and over...

And it'll even have the steering wheel on the left side ! Sadly, Americans are dumb enough to buy it.

I still have mine somewhere. They're packed with my encyclopedias. When my grandkids find them they might be nostalgia collectibles ETA: Now you got me wondering where they are....curse you,....

Springfield 'manuals' vs. the "Armory" publication print quality ?

Actually, I probably might have them in the truck. But at that point I think I'd be smart and pack it up and shoot something else

Springfield 'manuals' vs. the "Armory" publication print quality ?

The part I needed the detail for the FIRST time was rotating the firing pin retention cam pin 90 degrees to replace the firing pin. Everything else was straight forward.

Springfield 'manuals' vs. the "Armory" publication print quality ?

Spare me. It would be uncool of me to announce how I think YOU must be feeling about YOURself. It didn't occur to me I'd need a manual to break down a simple rifle like an AR-15 until I tried to replace the firing pin. I like to have a manual with me when I go shooting in the woods. Old...

Springfield 'manuals' vs. the "Armory" publication print quality ?

Yes they are. It took me about a minute to do it the SECOND time I removed the firing pin. It really IS a slick piece. I can't wait to shoot it.

Some people implied that the concept was something I'd never considered. Or maybe they were just being condescending

Springfield 'manuals' vs. the "Armory" publication print quality ?

Funny ! Part of my battle was keeping my glasses from falling off ! I was in the house when I was playing with the gun that nite, not in the shop (i haven't been in the shop for awhile, actually). The rifle is new. I'd started to take it apart while watching TV. I'm kinda sick, and I'd just...

    World's most reliable automobiles

I'd love to have a Town Car to ride in on the street. I've done a zillion laps strapped into single-seaters on race tracks. It's exercise. It's hard work. It's a blast. Once I started racing, driving on the road is (as the bumper sticker says) just for getting to the race track I want to be...

Springfield 'manuals' vs. the "Armory" publication print quality ?

For you guys that don't have three arms: When your hands have gun oil on them, how do you pan and zoom on your phone while you're holding your rifle in one hand and the firing pin in the other ? Yeah, point taken, you're right. I did NOT need a picture when I disassembled and put it back...

    World's most reliable automobiles

I remember hearing (decades ago) that the chinese LOVED Buicks. I'dve thought they'd have liked Caddys. I gotta say, though, my first and third cars were Mercedes-Benz trouble-makers. I had a Buick in between them and it was no trouble at all.

I swore by Hondas even though my Accord basically fell apart by around 60,000 miles (I say around because one of the failures was the speedometer quit working. Bought a CRX Si which wore out the first engine (it destroyed spark plug electrodes a few times in #1 cylinder which . I replaced the...

    Rule 4 isn’t only a suggestion!

I'm confused. Someone says 'why carry the gun if you're not going to shoot. ' Then he says 'know your environment and whether you should shoot or not.' Maybe he carries the gun knowing there might be times when it's not safe to shoot ?

Springfield 'manuals' vs. the "Armory" publication print quality ?

What prompted all this is that the DAY AFTER I dealt with the lousy print, they sent me their magazine with the paper and quality that COULD have been used for a decent manual. How many Springfield Arms firearms do you guys have ? You either flaming me or devotedly sticking up for your...

Springfield 'manuals' vs. the "Armory" publication print quality ?

AGAIN. I DID print the copy on print-quality paper didn't show the detail I needed after Springfield spent $2.59 to mail me their's. But thanks. I try to read someone's complete post before I respond. I guess the modern age doesn't allow the time to gather info before responding.
