My problem was very much like yours plus mine was eating batteries. Mine would discharge the battery in around 30 minutes or less. Called Springfield and returned it for a refund.. Going with Holston

My question was thumb safety on the Hellcat Pro my Hellcat OSP micro has it either way.

But it has the grip safety ( 1911 )
