Very true. I have a couple of those near me and I very much hope they do well.

Losing another small business is always sad.

Steep price increase on guns ahead?

One of these days when I'm down your way I'm going to give you a shout. I get the sense we could have a good time shooting stuff and solving all the world's problems over a stiff drink.

Most talented kitties! They probably didn't even need the paddles.

Steep price increase on guns ahead?

That's funny, but Bob and I were having a good conversation.

Steep price increase on guns ahead?

I'll say one thing on government spending and tariffs then drop it: they're a complicated thing. I love Central and South America, as well as the Caribbean. The jungle, the people, the food, the culture, the more "wild" and free way of life, everything about it. I go there as often as I can...

Steep price increase on guns ahead?

That's a very nuanced discussion and I don't think this is the place to have it.

Steep price increase on guns ahead?

Corporate taxes are foggy to say the least. What is true is we give oil and pharma companies huge subsidies and they make record profits. As to military contractors, that's just intentionally cryptic. We give them TONS on the books, and plenty more off the books. If balancing budgets and...

Man, if it comes to it, you survive your first engagement and there will be plenty of gear on the ground.

And a problem with tax credits to oil, pharma, and defense companies. Stop those subsidies and the govt could stop ruining (ex)federal employees' lives with plenty to spare.

Steep price increase on guns ahead?

As long as people understand that's what's going to happen. I can absorb a 25%-50% price increase far better than most so it's not really a thing on my end but I see how it can be quite tough for a lot of people.

Steep price increase on guns ahead?

Well, I don't dispute buying American being a good thing for Americans. But Pittsburgh steel will cost more than Tianjin steel, so newer Missouri rifles will still cost more than older Missouri rifles. Are there gun companies in Missouri? I'm not looking forward to what my next JP is going to...

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

That sucks! It's been a minute since Indy Cat had any issues but she definitely gets top priority over anything else.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

A Garmin Xero chronograph (I have to get the .300WM sorted for hunting)

    Stuck receiver bolt

In all seriousness and candor, if this is your first gun I would HIGHLY recommend waiting a little bit and getting one you know will work, even if you have to get it used. If it's just for plinking then no worries but if there's even a little bit of self protection concerns involved then the...

Steep price increase on guns ahead?

The tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum will be a problem for domestic manufacturing prices. Manufacturing here will still take a price hit. If there's something you want, get it now.

    Stuck receiver bolt

This is where I went with my ex who got a hi-point, but there was "buy a M&P 2.0" before the martini.

    Very up and down day

Bench. Rock climbing fall messed up my right shoulder, the Lisbon marathon lsst year messed up my left knee and ankle. It's been a long road working those out. And the lawyer making my week suck got fired.
