    Okay, thanks. I clean mine the same day also for the same reason but was concerned solvent would damage the nylon brushes!

    I have used both nylon and bronze brushes but have been hesitant to use nylon with a solvent. I believe I'm going the same route as Keystone1925. Any feedback on solvents and nylon brushes...is there a problem there?

    As I said, this one has served me well with no problems and it's had several thousand rounds run through it. As for function and quality it's as good as either of the Colts I owned. I'm sure it will continue on after I am gone!

    Thank you...I understand what you're saying papa, I had to have cataract surgery on both eyes in February and now I have 20/20 vision. Hardly know what to do with my self anymore but I can see to shoot!
