    Matt Gaetz Gone

I feel Hogarth was prepared and knew the mud was coming so he should be fine (I hope) As far as Gatez he had this well known trail for a while so not sure why he was even entertained. I feel he’s been god just how things are is all I am saying. I wonder who is plan B Trey Gowdy? Gonna be...

Why the hate for muzzle brakes?

I will say from working in an indoor range teaching they do increase decibels in that environment. Owner had it tested forget the number but it was louder. We recommended inner and outer and outlets all the time but ESPECIALLY for the muzzle brake folks. I will also add from watching a...

Why the hate for muzzle brakes?

While everyone is free to buy whatever for me they are of absolutely zero value on a 5.57 or lighter rifle. A 338, 416 or maybe 50 cal Barret sure but you’re not shooting those things inside. I also get humored by the large percentage of folks that have to have a muzzle break then talk about...

    More Sig 320 drama

Well apparently SIG was found liable the second time this year. We shall see where the appeals falls as I am sure SIG will appeal it! https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2024/nov/20/sig-sauer-pistol-philadelphia-jury

    Suggestions for red dot sight

The good and probably most important perk of getting a slide milled is you can mill it for a direct mount. That is the best way to mount a RDS There are several firearms that can direct mount a lot of different RDS OR some can be ordered for a certain RDS like Glock and M&P that I know of but...

    Suggestions for red dot sight

I have a Leupold Delta that is really nice. I did a Dave Spaulding RDS class and no issues. So you wouldn’t go wrong with it. Others like closed emitters and I have dabbled with Aimpoint Acro 2 and those are great. There are also some Trijicon offerings that I know folks that use them as does...

    Snub revolvers are still relevant

Sorry my phone apparently had its own mind. I attempted some humor and was saying “if you want them to pay a lung then you do you”

    Snub revolvers are still relevant

My example was just the point that outside of thoracic aortic area or CNS hits people are still hard sometimes to immediately stop. So when someone counts on a gut shot to disable them they are setting the self’s up. The snubby has the issue that the short barrel doesn’t have the length for...

    Snub revolvers are still relevant

I’ve seen enough extreme blunt force trama where the real thug keeps going for a while that I wouldn’t count on that to stop them. I have also been kn scen where a shooting victim was sprinting a block with 3 feet of intestines out his back from an SKS round before we caught up to him to treat...

    Pentagon fails 7th audit

Lots of “contract” vehicles overseas the same thing. Like several of the Toyotas and specifically the Mitsubishi Pavarotti there were a couple troops in the rotation we relieved in Kuwait that were killed in a simple accident that thing buckled like an aluminum can. Surprised there wasn’t a...

    Pentagon fails 7th audit

No surprise. Just think if you were the guy trying to explain all the equipment we left in Afghanistan away!!!!! I was at a base that closed in 1992 in 1991 when it was announced and DOE removed all the nukes they were trashing and throwing away so much gear it wasn’t funny. There was also a...

    Snub revolvers are still relevant

I know of folks that did but I wouldn’t run those as defensive studs simply as I don’t want them to expand too much with that soft lead and not penetrate. With the flat part up front it doesn’t need the speed to cut full diameter holes through a sternum and the juice to get 14-16 inches to what...

    Snub revolvers are still relevant

I save the plus P or faster loads for my all steel 4” guns. For snubs both 38 and 32 H&R you can’t beat plain Jane 148 grain (or 85-100 in 32) wadcutter as they don’t need the speed to cut full holes and get to the goods without the blast.

    Sig Zero Died

I’ve delt with Sig Customer service twice. One in the late 1990’s and once in 2018. They are spit in now. Back in 1997 they were not interested in dealing with you unless you were an agency that bought 300 or more guns! Night and day difference. Good luck and let us know how the new dot works!

Are You Prepared to Handle a Fentanyl Overdose?

I’d I carried narcan in a non LE role I would reserve it for my family or friend only. People get a little to into things when something hits the news. Like the number of people wanting to run out and have needle compression lists in their med gear is stupid and ill advised for anyone that’s...

What do you think about this ?

I helped list guns in Gunbroker at A store/range I use to teach at. We have a Colt connection and get a ton of their stuff. I listed a bunch of these at the tail end of the pandemic during 2022 and they were not selling hardly at all. We sold more in store than on line and that was not much...

    More Sig 320 drama

The issue is Sig isn’t the only one that has a cocked striker design. As many have mentioned S&W M&P’s HK VP 9 and Walther are 3 examples that have a more single action type cocked design compared to Glock, Shadow Systems and Stoeger Glock Gen 3 design stuff
