The German U-Boat Menace of World War II

Had der fuhrer followed the original plan, which had the war starting in 45 or 46, Doenitz would have had a LOT more of the IX boats and very likely would have won the battle of the Atlantic. As it was he started out with what, 69 boats, and still came close.

Stellantis having a very difficult time

Yup. A “real” diesel will run a long time. Take a gas burner, raise the compression without any mods to how you bolt on the heads and leave the bottom end the same and Kaboom. What a surprise. I really think if GM had done it right we’d have seen a Lot of American diesel cars-instead….

A Resurgence of the 1911 for Duty?

No doubt the 1911 trigger is slick. I love they way they handle and how easy it is to shoot one well (which is why one is on my hip as I write this). The fact that it take three actions to fire it (grip, safety, trigger) one could make the argument that it’s a safer weapon to carry. Also...

    Another Bear attack

I was thinking more “stupid” than “sissy”, but that’s just me. I’ve a granddaughter who’s as feminine and “sissy” as can be, BUT she knows how to handle herself, she’s a decent pistol shot, and can find her way around the woods.😏. No, I think stupid fits our bear encounter girl…

    Closed Ports/Panic buying

Remember too that plumbers, electricians, etc are SKILLED labor. Longshoremen, (except for the crane operators) are unskilled labor-huge difference there kids

Stellantis having a very difficult time

Ah, GM’s gas burners converted to diesel-they are the power plants responsible for turning an entire generation of Americans OFF to diesel in cars😏. Dad had one, Uncle had two. The both babied them and did quite well. Ran hard though they tended to self destruct🙄

US Supreme Court hears challenge to Mexico's suit against US firearms industry

I’m sure China could find something to sue us over too-maybe aircraft that pose a threat to ‘em or ships or…..

Stellantis having a very difficult time

I dunno, a lifted Buick with a “Ramair” hood to provide clearance… you’d be the only guy on the block (planet?) with one😊

Stellantis having a very difficult time

Remember though that for a few years recently MB was at the bottom of the “reliability” chart. One year it was even worse than Jeep😳

    New Sig P365

I like the P365- great small 9. Not that impressed with the improved (Larger) versions. Why do you want to take a very small like pistol that runs like a watch and then make it bigger and bigger and bigger. Kind of the opposite direction from most…🙄

Longshoremen agree to suspend strike, reopen ports

My thought exactly when the “defund” crowd gets active. Serious case of blue flue for a week or so would change their perspective.

    $2,700 each for tail-lights?

You gotta wonder who the rocket scientist was who came up with THAT idea🙄

Israel drops bunker busters. Eliminates Hamas Leader

I’m convinced that if WE had dealt with Iran back in ‘79 by showing them that terrorism is a net loser we’d not have been dealing with BS in that part of the world for the last 45 years

    $2,700 each for tail-lights?

Grandson (Cop) told me last year that the Kia’s were the most popular with theives because they are easiest to steal-seems that there is a way to just pop the plastic cover behing the steering wheel and start ‘em up.😳

Stellantis having a very difficult time

I’ve a 16 Ram 1500 Ecodiesel that’s been perfect for 96,000 miles. My ‘20 Jeep, on the other hand, not so much (which is why I shipped it down the river). Rough ride, lousy handling poor mileage and mediocre build quality. My old 98 TJ was a great rig, 140,000 trouble free. The new...
