My first gun, .45 RO, picked it up in December, over the moon. Here it is on the dealer's counter, they were processing the paperwork (had it shipped from KY). The other night I was playing around with Portrait mode on the iPhone, made this my avatar, lol:

Ha, I've been moving that slide and hammer and levers several times a day for weeks, just to get used to handling it. Next is field-strip and reassembly several times, then a good first-time cleaning (I know, hasn't been shot) to get my workflow down. A little lube and maybe 100 more times...

Exactly. I have 100 rds of Legend Pro to test and I'll keep hammering away to get more to test. Rupert1911 has had no probs with the Federal that he posted a picture of. My gun is identical inside, only difference is I have a red dot and accessory rail, so I'll be looking for that ammo next.

Good point. BUT-- I think I'd better just shoot the JHP I have like Annihilator said, and see how it goes, as opposed to someone's take on YouTube. Thankful I even have any, lately it's been a chore to find any, and when you do it's $.75 to $1.00 per round. Oy.
