I see the appeal for this size of rifle especially in CQB and boarding. I couldn’t imagine having to maneuver and operate within the interior of a ship with a big ol’ 16-inches. There are some tight areas.

I can shoot either, so no preference. For nightstand gun, I prefer my red dot. For ccw gun I prefer a red dot lol. For my woods carry, I carry multiple head lamps and lights just in case. So either works for me.
