    I would just shoot him...

We were in the process of moving her and her belongings into my house. She told me afterwards if I didn't want her to move in with me, I didn't have to be so dramatic about it....lol

    I would just shoot him...

Absolutely correct. I fell down 15 stairs about four years ago and damaged pretty much everything. Luckily I was unconscious for the final few stairs as the back of my head came down on one of the stairs knocking me completely out. Concussion, scapular tendon torn in right shoulder, scapular...

    I would just shoot him...

That's for damn sure. All someone would have to do is give me a good shot in either of my surgically "repaired" shoulders and I'd pretty much be done...lol

    BUIS comments requested

https://www.amazon.com/Meprolight-MEPROLT-FLIP-Sights-TRITIUM/dp/B07RMZRJHJ I have these on my Colt. Very good sights, and the tritium works well in low light conditions. I lined them up at 50 yards and haven't really used them since but they seem to be good quality.

    Shooting Gloves

I only use them when shooting my M4, but I have a pair from a company called "Siebertron". They're half gloves but they fit very well and they're very grippy. Speaking of which, it's been a long time since I shot my rifle, may be about time to take it to the range.

went and got a new gun today

I think a 1911 is about the most "handsome" handgun ever made. Hard to beat the look of one of those. I would love to have the 92FS INOX Compact, that is bad ass looking handgun. A bit difficult to find, but I run across them online now and then, usually when I don't have the money to purchase...

went and got a new gun today

As far as aesthetics go, a Beretta is just a bad ass looking handgun, especially the 92F/FS. Those had/have such a unique look to them and pretty much bomb proof as far as reliability. I've regretted selling mine eve since I got rid of it, so a 92FS is definitely on my "re-acquire" list.

went and got a new gun today

That was my first handgun purchase way back in 1992, a Beretta 92FS. Absolutely Cadillac of a handgun. Strangely enough, i had saved up enough to buy the Beretta back then buy I was torn between the Beretta and a Browning Hi-Power.....there was also this strange looking thing at the gun store...

Budget 1911 that actually works flawlessly right out the box

I saw several of those this last Saturday at an area gun show, Hans. They seemed well built, action seemed to cycle nicely and a couple I looked at had some nice sights on them. You've shot them before? Price on them wasn't too bad, wasn't really in the market to buy this weekend, just browsing...

Gel Testing Federal Personal Defense Punch .45

I've ran HST 230grain thru several .45ACP handguns, never had so much as a hiccup out of any of them, Glock, S&W, Springfields, I have all my .45ACPs loaded up with HST. The only handgun I ever had an issue and it was a serious one, was my Taurus G3C. Had all kinds of issues with it jamming just...

What influences you when purchasing a firearm

What I've got my eye on now is a Beretta 92FS Compact INOX...as far as finding one locally I'm SOL over the last year or so.

What influences you when purchasing a firearm

LMAO...strangely enough, I do NOT have a 1911....and I have always wanted one...just usually out of my price range. I always told myself if I ever get around to buying a 1911 it has to be a Colt....it's still on my bucket list...lol

What influences you when purchasing a firearm

I tend to be a bit schizo when it comes to gun purchases. My innate, recurring OCD mindset inevitably is going to tell me I should have bought some other kind of handgun no matter what I end up buying. Most recently I had four models of Glock handguns, a CZ, a Beretta, and I asked to see all of...

Holsters and why you choose that 1!

I'm all about maximum concealment IWB about 3'O clock position. I have a box full of holsters that I used for years. Came across an add on some gun site about three years ago for JM4 Tactical Magnetic holsters. Concept seemed sound, magnetic retention, good quality leather, holster supposed to...

    Optics on AR?

I wrestled with the Eotech for a long time. I paid a lot of money for the set up, I had the combo with the 3x magnifier, but no matter how much I adjusted it, it was always fuzzy to me. I very much liked the Eotech reticle, so that's one feature that drew me to the Sig Romeo 5XDR, but I was very...

    Optics on AR?

I 100% agree on the prism sights. I was looking at a Burris prism sight at my LGS when I bought my Glock and it was crystal clear, very high quality glass and the reticle was VERY clear.

    Optics on AR?

Maybe it's the Sig that's holographic and the Eotech uses some other type of projection? Not sure to be honest. the Sig Optics reticle is as clear and crisp as I've ever seen on a sight while the Eotech, I had two different ones, both were fuzzy looking.

    Optics on AR?

My Aimpoint Pro I used to have on my Colt was bomb proof, I picked it up on a sale from Larue Tactical, but I ended up having the same issue with it that I did with the Eotech, the reticle started to become very fuzzy and there was almost a starburst effect. My eye doc told me that depending on...

    Optics on AR?

I have a Sig Optics Romeo 5XDR which uses the Eotech reticle except it's HD quality, much more visible than the Eotech and not fuzziness, and I run a Sig Optics Juliet 4x magnifier behind the XDR. I've went thru about 6 iterations of optics on my Colt, Eotech, Aimpoint PRO, Vortex, Meprolight...
