    Sig Sauer P320X Compact 9mm

Thanks for the info. I've been following those stories about the accidental discharge on the Sigs, that is a bit worrisome.

    Sig Sauer P320X Compact 9mm

I've got an opportunity to purchase this Sig this weekend from a friend of mine. He's only had it about a year, less than 100 rounds thru it. He actually has two of them so he's agreed to sell me one if i want it. I've always wanted to own a Sig Sauer, but they've usually been a bit too steep in...

Is the .357 Magnum the Best Option for Personal Defense?

It's definitely one option for self-defense. Good ballistics and I never tire of using my old S&W 686 .357 in single action mode. There's just something about cocking the hammer on that cannon that never gets old...lol

    BEST COMFY IWB?

I've gone exclusively to JM4 Tactical magnetic holsters. I sold many old holsters after going to the JM4. They move with you not against you. I can drive comfortably while wearing them, they don't need constant adjustment, and they break in fairly quickly for leather. They're a bit pricey, but...

    Night Sights

I've gone back and put TFX Pros on all my handgun. Good quality, good sight picture, very good night sights imho. Just had them installed on my Beretta APX this last weekend, very high quality night sights.

Should I carry a spare magazine

I take the base plates off now and then to make sure no debris has accumulated, make sure the spring still has decent tension and maybe put a drop of oil on the spring. Mostly, and I'm just being completely honest, I very much enjoy the act of breaking down my weapons, inspecting them, cleaning...

    Is Your Carbine’s Zero Wrong?

I've always been more accurate with a 50-yard zero on my AR-15 rifles. Seems to be a good middle ground to not have to adjust aim point for range unless it's extreme distance, which I couldn't see anyway...lol

1..st time at an outdoor range today

We have one outdoor range for this whole part of Arkansas and it's about an hour away in the middle of nowhere. And, if you don't get there at the crack of dawn, be ready to wait an hour or two to shoot. So, I make do with the indoor range about 15 minutes from my house. It's only 26 yards max...
