Florida Alert: Liberals Angry to Discover Gun Control Laws Infringing upon there Rights

I've got a conservative brother-in-law who has been a federal government employee for 25+ years, here in Alabama, and recently was asking me about buying his first gun, actually for his wife. He had researched it and thought the S&W EZ380 would be good for her, which I agreed with fully. I am...

Home Defense for Newbies Pistol Grip Only Shotguns vs Pistol Caliber Carbines

A pistol grip shotgun may have its place, but sounds like a horrible weapon for most folks. I'll take my shoulder braced shotgun any day of the week. The PCC is the way to go for most folks looking for a long gun for home defense, if they don't want something that shoots rifle ammo. I ended up...

    XD-M Elite 3.8: Best EDC 9mm?

Springfield has a custom shop, but they've really done their best to hide it on their newly revamped website! Best I can find is the phone number for the custom shop, on this page: https://www.springfield-armory.com/1911-series-handguns/custom-handguns About the most useful thing there is the...

    THE ONE-CARTRIDGE HOBBY: .357 MAGNUM

I think a good rifle in .357 would be fun to have, and probably good for hunting. It would get back to the carbines of old, where the cowboy shot the same 45LC in his revolver and his rifle. If I ever recover financially from the COVID-19 crisis, I would love one of those Henry lever actions in...

What You Need to Know About the Survival Gun

My thoughts exactly. If I ever got setup for reloading, it would likely be for .357 and .38 special, as I can recover that brass. It's a lot harder to recover my automatic ammo as the brass is all over the place. In indoor ranges the brass usually ends up across the front wall of the shooting...

Yikes! Hog hunters should like this.

Better yet, we need folks to take out all the pythons destroying the Everglades down in Florida.

What You Need to Know About the Survival Gun

Yeah, looking at those muzzle energy graphs make me think I still need a Keltec Sub2000 or a Ruger PCC in my arsenal. Both can be stowed in a pack easily with a few boxes of 9mm ammo.

What You Need to Know About the Survival Gun

So are you saying you would roll with the .22LR? If so, my pimped out Marlin Model 60 has fiber optic sights and a sling is ready to roll. I would throw 1000 or so rounds in the backpack and bug out. I need a scope for it though, but I’ve always liked iron sights better for just plinking.

What You Need to Know About the Survival Gun

Considering I've got about 3000 rounds of 22LR, versus < 500 of most other calibers on hand, I imagine that would make my 17 round old Marlin rifle a good "survival" gun, and my Ruger Mark II. I don't think I would want to lug around a 12 gauge Remington with a 28" barrel unless I am bird...

    Looking Forward After Lockdown

I’ll just be happy to have my company and my job survive this crisis. Our customers are not paying their bills to us, so we are having to be creative to make payroll, including across the board salary cuts. A cut Is better than being unemployed without insurance right now.

Wadcutter Bullets: Everything you ever Wanted to Know

I've never seen wadcutters or even semi-wadcutters for any form of automatic - just revolver ammo. I just figured it was due to issues with feeding with a flat or concave nose on the bullet. Maybe that's why you can't find these anymore?

Wadcutter Bullets: Everything you ever Wanted to Know

I love the full .38 special wadcutters in my old S&W M&P revolver (made in 1905). Such a pretty hole in a target, and I used to keep it loaded with wadcutters for home defense before I had the XDM 5.25 and Compact 3.8.

    XD-M Elite 3.8: Best EDC 9mm?

Good to know that the mag well is detachable, but the extended grip of 20 versus 13 rounds still makes it a less concealable EDC than the XDM Compact.

    XD-M Elite 3.8: Best EDC 9mm?

I have to disagree. The XDM Elite 3.8 is not the best EDC - the discontinued XDM Compact 3.8 is. The XDM Compact is much more concealable with its flush magazine and shortened grip than the XDM Elite 3.8 with its full grip. I think the flared mag well, while good for a competition pistol, also...

China And the WHO Failed to Warn the World of Coronavirus

I watched a video last week where a reporter in Hong Kong was asking a WHO official why they failed to heed warnings coming out of Taiwan in November 2019 about the outbreak, and the guy at WHO kept acting like he couldn't hear her, and asked her to go on to the next question, then hung up on...

    Dry Fire Tools

Has anyone looked at the iTarget stuff at https://www.itargetpro.com? Bug-Out Bag Essentials

I’m starting to think 22LR, or 22 Magnum for the big out bag, as as others have said, you could haul 1000 rounds in very little space.
