Thanks for posting. I hadn't seen that one yet.
One question I've never seen answered is why the aluminum frame? I know that the aluminum frame reduces weight, but then Sig uses the TXG (tungsten infused grip panels), which weigh 3 times more than a regular G10 grip, to add weight.
To me that...
Let Cher go if she wants to, after all she said when Trump won it gave her a stroke. In all I think there were about 23 celebrities who promised to leave the US if Trump won the election in 2016. Cher was one, Barbra Streisand was another.
To the best of my knowledge, it was all empty threats...
I have to give S&W credit. The Response is already listed as being in stock all over.
MSRP is $799, but I've seen is listed for as low as $699 already.
Your guess is as good as mine.
I'm thinking that since S&W recently came out with their folding 9mm carbine, and it seems to be selling well, they're just expanding their lineup of pistol caliber carbines.
I'm not aware of any changes to the M&P15 line, but S&W does tweak their offerings...
Maybe like this? This information has been taken down from the link listed below.
Almost reminds me of a similar build up to a new product release a while back when Springfield Armory was leaking news about the new Eschelon. I'm sure we all remember how the leaked information was removed...
That's a difficult question to answer. The lever action in general is a pretty durable design. I think Marlin has improved on their original design now that Ruger has taken over. The improved design, better metallurgy, and more precision parts I think will make the overall design even more...
Just a quick addition. I don't know what the OP is looking for in a handgun. We've been bombarded with 9mm all metal compacts lately, but don't forget the CZ Shadow 2 compact.
The CZS2 is the one that I would choose if I could have only one.
It is a fantastic handgun!
If you can find one at a...
Did you purchase the new Ruger/Marlin or a Marlin before it was purchased by Ruger? Just curious. Either one is a great firearm.
I purchased the new Ruger/Marlin 1895 SBL a few months ago. It is a fantastic lever action.
With 45/70 ammo at about $2.50+ per round, I don't think I'll be...
I purchased one a few months ago.
For the first range trip I shot 220 rounds through it. The first 50 were Winchester 124 gr NATO rounds. I like to use those for the first shots through a new gun because it's a little stouter round and it helps to break in the pistol and loosen things up. After...
@Pro DigyII......hope this doesn't put too much pressure on you, but I picked up my new X-FIVE Legion. Absolutely beautiful, if I say so myself. Buttery smooooooth, and a 2lb 6oz trigger.
Lots of money no doubt, but the Sig X-FIVEs have a feel and a presence that not a lot of other pistols...
If you find one to look at and decide you like it, you can either buy local if the price is right, or order from places like these. Many times you will find free shipping and no sales tax which can help a lot with overall price. I've purchased from KYGUNCO several times and they are great to...
Will do as soon as I can.
I sure wasn't expecting to get it this soon. I was told 8 - 12 weeks so I wasn't really expecting it until late November. Funny thing is they are already popping up at dealers and on Gunbroker.
I'm sure that if anyone wants one in the future, Sig will be more than happy to build them one.
For those that did order one, like me, and was told 8 to 12 weeks for delivery I got my tracking number last Friday so hopefully I'll get it this week.
I too hope that it's worth the money, and I have one on order.
When the German made Sig X-FIVE was being made, people jumped in line to spend $4-5000 for one because it was considered to be one of the premium firearms in the world. Now that the Sig X-FIVE is made in the US, most experts agreed...
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion. It is a lot of money for sure, but Sig will sell a ton of them.
Most of your lower level premium guns start at about the $2000+ range nowadays. Then you get to the higher level premium at $3000 and up.
Look at it this way. If your dream gun is a Stacatto XC, you can be expected to shell out $4400 or more. That's out of the price range of most people.
But for the mere price of $2249 you can order a Sig X-FIVE Legion that has almost identical specs including the built in compensator. That's...
The overall length is the same. The Legion uses a 4.4" barrel but the added on integrated comp makes the slide the same length as if it had a 5" barrel, so essentially there's no difference in length.
I know some will want to carry this pistol, but not me. It's too big for one thing and too...
