What ever happened to all the talk about the new SA model to be introduced?

Thanks, I missed that. That explains why my search turned up nothing.

What ever happened to all the talk about the new SA model to be introduced?

What happened to all of the discussion about the new SA model that is supposed to be introduced on 7/12? It seems like there was a pretty lively discussion about what it was supposed to be and now that the date is getting close, nothing. It may be that most people were hoping for something...

71-year-old homeowner's gun jams when confronting alleged burglar armed with a pitchfork, so he draws his sword

That's great! When modern technology fails, fall back on the old dependable. I'm surprised swords haven't already been banned in liberal Washington.

    Cz sp01

That's sort of what I thought when I got my P07. But once I got it and saw and felt the difference between the SP01 and even a CZ 75 compact, the price difference didn't seem that important and the P07 sits in the safe most of the time. Still, the P07 is a fine firearm, but it's in a different...

    Cz sp01

The P07 is a fine pistol, but doesn't hold a candle to the SP01 IMO. If you haven't checked out both, I suggest you do before you make up your mind. The P07 is lighter and better for EDC, but other than that it's SP01 all the way.

    New Prodigy

Thanks for checking. I'm not really worried about my Prodigy but since the subject of slide to frame fit came up I thought it would be interesting to see if anyone else has noticed any change in how their Prodigy has changed/not changed since it's been in use.

    New Prodigy

Thanks for chiming in. I don't mean to doubt you but just to make sure we're on the same page here, if you get a chance please do the following: With an empty mag inserted and the hammer down, grasp the sides of the slide and wiggle it from side to side. On my Prodigy I can't detect any...

    New Prodigy

While I'm not glad to hear about how your slide has loosened up, I'm relieved because mine has too. It doesn't rattle or anything, but there is a bit more movement than it had when brand new. When brand new it was rock solid, but now with about 700+ rounds through it, I can see and feel a bit...

My favorite gun as of this moment is:

At the moment it is a tie between my Dan Wesson DWX and my BUL Armory SASII UL. I expect that to change shortly because I have a BUL Armory SASII Tac 5 on order. As neat as the little 3.25" baby BUL is, I expect it to be replaced by the Tac 5, which will be more of a direct competitor to the...

    What will ATF criminalize next?

I agree with the original post. The only bright side for us is that the Supreme Court has shown that it supports the 2nd Amendment and also is against government overreach. I suspect that this current rule change on pistol braces will eventually be overturned, but in the meantime it could...

    Guns Never Shot……

I have to correct my post. I must have been having a biden moment.😉 I should have said I have an unfired HK SP5, not a MP5. The SP5 has remained unfired because when I have a desire to shoot a sub gun I get out the PTR9KT. It's A blast to shoot and it allows the HK to stay clean. I do have a MP5...

    Guns Never Shot……

I used to be really bad about that, especially with somewhat rare or more expensive firearms. Somehow I thought that not firing them would keep them in pristine condition, and it does, but you never get to appreciate the firearm. I have four different versions of S&W 945's that are all unfired...

    DWX compact

We must have very similar tastes in firearms. One pistol I am also waiting for is the BUL Tac 5 pistol. I picked up the BUL SAS II 3.25" UL about a month ago and was absolutely amazed with it, so much that I want to get another BUL. I would love to get the SAS II 4.25" Pro version but since I...

    DWX compact

I managed to find the DWX full size a month or two ago and purchased it. You definitely won't be dissatisfied with your purchase even if waiting for it is frustrating. IMO it is one of the most best firearms out there. The overall quality is excellent. The only one minor complaint is that the...

    NEW: S&W PC™ M&P®10MM 5.6"

I would like to get into the 10MM and have been considering one for a while. I'm a big fan of the M&Ps but ever since their 10MM version has been introduced the internet has been flooded with a few problems with M&Ps 10MM that have been causing me to hold back. They were especially tempting...

Something different......BUL Armory SAS II Ultra Light 3.25"

Wow, when you decide to do something different, you go all out! The XC is about 3X the price of a BUL UL and also about 3X bigger. But it's definitely not "stupid" if it's something that you want. Congratulations on a fine pistol. I think you'll be happy with your choice after you get to...

Something different......BUL Armory SAS II Ultra Light 3.25"

I ordered it directly from BUL on their website. Easy process, it arrived in under a week, $39.95 shipping, but no sales tax. The only problem, they're out of stock now. BUL does have a waiting list that you can sign up for to get notification when they're back in stock.

Something different......BUL Armory SAS II Ultra Light 3.25"

I managed to take the BUL UL to the range today for it's first time. I'm happy to report that it went perfectly. The baby BUL fired 175 rounds without even a hint of a hiccup. I fired 50 rounds Winchester 124 gr NATO, 50 rounds of 124 gr Blazer Brass, 50 rounds of 115 gr Blazer Brass, and 25...
