I bet I have the 8 5/8" . I put a scope on it and used it for hunting.

I bought some Buffalo Bore heavy outdoorsman 220 gr. hard cast fn at 1200fps and Buffalo Bore heavy 180 gr JHP at 1350 fps but haven't gotten a chance to shoot them. I pick up a box of Grizzly 200 gr JHP at 1250fps but never heard of them.

I just use the steel for camp. I was at a local gun club with a friend to sight in my 6.5 creedmoor for Colorado next week and liked there range going to join so I can get some good range time with my Saint Victor.

I'm a 40 fan and bought my first 10mm this year a XDM and I love it. Not that bad on recoil like I always heard.

I have seen that it come in the steel casings. Good for just putting rounds down range. Most of the shooting that I do with my AK and some with my AR is just mag dump while at fishing camp for the first day of trout season in April.

My girlfriend has a license to carry but hardly ever does. She only drives to work about a half mile or so. She can't see very well at night so I do all the night time driving and I always carry.
