Bear in mind, the U-sight doesn't glow at night or in low-light conditions. I have TruGlo TFX on my XD-s, and Viridian on my Hellcat - both front (single dot) and rear (double dots on either side of a notch) glow quite nicely. Line up the dots and pull the trigger.

Um...nope. Practice all you want, learn all the bad habits and wrong methods you want, but until you get TRAINED, you aren't exposed to the correct way to do things. Or to the fact that some(lots) of the things that you think are correct, really aren't.

Guess it's time to start suing Dunkin Donuts for making people fat. General Motors or Ford or Chrysler or Toyota, when we get moving violations. If it wasn't for those evil industries, we wouldn't have to cope with weight gain, or higher insurance rates, or damaged cars...right? Same philosophy.

I'd have to dig through my box, but I could swear my Hellcat came with a flush-fit baseplate for the 11-rd mag... edit: yup, flush baseplate in the box. Damned if I can find the 11-rd mag though...hm. Maybe it's in the workshop after my last plinking session.

And therein lies the problem. "Law" simply cannot be political. It must apply to everyone, every time, regardless of....anything. Anything less is discriminatory.

I believe the Hellcat is unchanged, and it is simply a baseplate change inside the mag.

I've cleared groundhogs out of my back yard with the .38 revolver - had a particularly nasty family of them a couple years ago, and with an elderly pug in my family I wasn't taking any chances.

I have a Baldr Mini on my Hellcat. You have to over-loosen the flipper handle to allow the mount to open wide enough to get onto the rail. I removed the flipper handle altogether, and replaced it with a screw and nylock nut from Lowes. Smaller package, and I don't need the quick release feature...

The worst thing a target of something like that can do, is give any indication that they think what they're doing is in the least bit wrong. We as gun owners / 2A advocates, need to stand TALL and stand PROUD if people like this come at us, and proclaim proudly 'HELL YES, I SUPPORT THE GUN...

Green laser dot paints the target quite nicely, and lets me focus on the target. Contrasting tritium-plus-light pipe iron sights (orange back, green front) serve well as the backup if the battery in the laser goes south - I can still target-focus, and put the green blur between the orange...

Good stuff. Takes me back to when I cleaned up dad's '52 Colt for him. It had been in his sock drawer for 20 (!) years, untouched, unused (and uncleaned, and un-lubed). I couldn't see down the barrel it had so much lint in it, and the trigger mech was so gunked up with dust and lint, and dried...
