Fact is we have p*** poor parenting which started decades ago. Starting in the late 80's - early 90's parents wanted to be their kids friends and not parents and this has only become worse. It's not a left, right, rural or city thing but simply a weak adult thing. Just my opinion

Grip is my determining factor. Shield's thru full size 1911's are all effective for me. Shields and Hellcats are my primary carries.

Shield Plus, Hellcat, or Hellcat Pro with Dot the majority of the time for me. When the weather allows it will be a "real gun" one of my 1911's. Range time is typically 1911's and full size plastic guns. I dedicate 1 trip out of every 4 or 5 to my EDC's.

Due to recent cooler weather I've recently been able to carry this in my Tucker Gunleather that recently arrived.
