As a civilian, be prepared to go to court and defend yourself legally if you pull that gun out of the holster. Very good chance of being arrested by the cops for that because they will cuff you and sort it out later. You do not want the ride to the station in the back seat...better limber up...

I carried a 1911 for years and generally used IWB in warmer weather. If I knew I could wear a jacket I’d go with OWB for comfort. My 1911 conceals better than my 3.8 XDM because it is flatter. Both require some thought as to clothing if you want to avoid printing.

I used the LEO program to purchase a TRP last year. I got mine from dealer stock rather than ordering from a distributor. Pretty easy deal! Now I can’t decide between a Hellcat and a 4.25” Ronin... Cheers Gofer
