There is a button on the side of each of the sights. You'll have to use the button to close the sights as well.

Yes.... the lugs on the bolt were gouging the casing on the the upcoming round in the magazine. So when it would pick it up the gouge would cause it to jam in the chamber.

I do agree to a certain extent. Products are still made by people and people are inherently flawed. The important aspect is if the problem is corrected effectively and in a timely manner. Even bigger brand name firearms producers have issues as well.

I had a similar issue with my PDW. The bolt was gouging the case of the round behind the one it was picking up. The gouge was extreme enough that it would jam the case in the chamber. I sent it in to Springfield and they replaced the BCG and now it shoots like a dream. I'd highly recommend that...

Tap out the retaining pin on the side of the grip. Then the second retaining pin will drop out, then the mag well will pop off.

I picked up the 10 mm elite a couple weeks ago and finally got it to the range last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised at how well and stable it shot for being a compact. Even the gal I was with gave it a whirl and actually out shot me with it.:rolleyes::D

Depending on the given day, I am either choosing the 3.8 9mm XDM Elite or 10 mm Elite.
