    Need A New Coffee Maker

Over the last several years We have had a few of the Keurig K cup brewers and over all I'm pretty happy. With just me and my wife at home and she is not a coffee drinking The K cups have been a good option. As a rule I only drink 2-3 cups per day which keeps me from pouring the remainder of the...

    Just my thoughts

I just wish when anything new is released to the public and wanting to get into their pocket, that they would only release when its ready for prime time. Sure would at least feel more comforting that what we bought was finished and ready for use.

    Just my thoughts

The last 40 plus years I was one of those people and suddenly COVID popped its head out. I won't say how many guns I bought since then, but it was more than 1 per year. Oh well my game plan is to have my family sell them and possibly donate the cash to kids who are in real need to maybe give...

    Just my thoughts

I am right with you on this. Sig seems to have thrown out most other models to put all their eggs into two pistols. They found a simple way to keep many happy, without any real investment in ingenuity. My guess it comes down to profit. To be far, manufacturers have followed and will continue to...

Installed mounting plate that came with myProdigy

The dovetail sight is built into the optic plate, and apparently even though I shorted the screws I figured as long as they did not protrude from the bottom I was good to go.

Installed mounting plate that came with myProdigy

That seems to be exactly what happened. I should have taken a little more the first time and not have had this happen. As you said I wasn't thinking of what would happen once I torqued the screws. Lesson learned!

Installed mounting plate that came with myProdigy

Guys, this was bothering me to the point I couldn't sleep and just had to try and figure out what went wrong. I removed the Dragonfly did some measuring and even though the screws that held the optic to the plate didn't protrude beyond the plate, I decided to shorten them a bit more. End result...

Installed mounting plate that came with myProdigy

Yes the factory rear sight is part of the plate that is removed, just the same as the rear sight is part of the optic mount.

Installed mounting plate that came with myProdigy

Before removing the factory installed plate, everything sat perfectly flat. No gaps what so ever. As you can see the Hex Dragonfly also makes 100% contact the plate underneath it. Before putting the mounting plate on, I completely cleaned both surfaces and before screwing it down I wiggled it to...

Installed mounting plate that came with myProdigy

I’m wondering how many other have this but haven’t payed attention to it. My other thought is slide or mounting plate was machined out of spec.

Installed mounting plate that came with myProdigy

Today I installed the mounting plate that came with my Prodigy 4.25" and a new Hex Dragonfly. Everything went smoothly then noticed a small gap that was between the plate and the frame which continued under the rear sight. The plate lays flush with the frame most of the way and is tight. As for...

Installing a red dot on my Prodigy

Your description of how much of the sight can be see over the Venom..maybe 2/3 is about what I see looking at my Hellcat Pro rear sight through my Sentine red dot. I had thought about trying the Hex Dragonfly, but after reading in another article how dirty the lens got and needed cleaned has me...

Installing a red dot on my Prodigy

I was wondering what reason Springfield Arms was using the ad says Vortex Viper but leaves out Venom.

Installing a red dot on my Prodigy

Guys, I know that the red dot mount that came with my Prodigy will work with the Vortex Viper as well as a few other brands. I own a Vortex Venom which I had thought about removing from another pistol. The foot print is the same on both models, but the venom is slightly taller in the back and...

Hellcat Pro sticker spring, Heavy or light and what does it do?

Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm still wanting to install the striker assembly in my son's Hellcat Pro to see how that goes. If it works I need to look more into my Pro to see if I can come up with a fix.

    Springfield Prodigy Questions

I'm guessing in due time SA will come out with replacement grips, but so far haven't heard of any. You might look into Staccato P and C2 as they are at least visually very close in looks.
