Agreed. I dabble a bit in Facebook to keep track of family goings on, but I usually just skip all of it overall. This forum is great for being a place to talk about gun stuff and more without all the baggage of things like twitter....

Those U-Dot sights look amazing. To get those as the "standard" sight on a pistol like that for that price seems like an amazing deal.

The PPK/S is a great gun, but a bit heavy and big for a .308. But again, great gun with a great history. The Hellcat sure seems to represent the best of modern design, though. Lots of 9mm in a really little package....

Which XDM model do you have? I've been seriously considering the new Elite guns...

What gun were you using? I have carried Critical Defense 185-gr. .45 in my carry gun for years. It shoots accurately, but I've not done any gel testing or anything like that (or used it for defense), so I don't know if it is as effective as they claim. Hope to never find out!

Good suggestion on the XDE. I was thinking the 3.8 might be an option. I was concerned the trigger system might be too complicated? Does that one have it as a long double action pull on the first shot and then short single action pulls after?
