AZ man mauled by bear drinking morning coffee

Not safe anywhere anymore. In Florida, Louisiana, and similar parts, you have to worry about crocs and alligators. Near the woods/forrest you have to worry about bears and other 4 legged predators. In the city and urban areas you have to worry about thugs and druggies.... That said, I think it's...

    Do you carry a revolver

Ahh okay. I misunderstood. Sorry Ain't that the truth, or at least that's what I tell myself to justify another purchase.

    Do you carry a revolver

I need a Ruger GP100 snubby, Colt Python 3", and a S&W M627 or M629, and I'll think I'll be set on revolvers for what's left of my life.

    Do you carry a revolver

Had a chance to buy a used like new 629 Performance Center for $900 at a LGS, but I didn't have the funds at the time.:cry: I have a Model 69 Combat Magnum which also cost almost $900, but it was a impulse buy. What I really want is a N frame.

    Re: Shield 45

I started another thread instead of responding in the orginal so not to derail the first. Yes, after simply supplying information that I knew for a fact was correct to clear up and then having member become snarky, a smart ..., and peeved off in his replies to me initially trying to settle the...

http://smith-wessonforum.com/smith-wesson-m-p-pistols/567930-new-shield-45-m2-0-a.html Again the above post is in 2018, and not 2019 like was claimed when the 2.0 was "Newly Released." The SKU he mentioned was on his box of 11531 is the same exact SKU listed for the 45 Shield without the Thumb...

    Re: Shield 45

S&W forum member Redcoat3340 posted the following pictures of his 45 Shield with Thumb Safety back in April 2018 when he was inquiring about the if what he had was a 45 Shield 2.0. He also posted a picture of the box it came in. Take notice of the SKU of 180022! Here is a screenshot of the...

    Re: Shield 45

The 45 Shield didn't have the 2.0 envgraved in the slide at first only for marketing reasons only. S&W wanted to bring the 45 shield to market BEFORE they said anything about there being a 2.0 9mm/40s&w. They were still selling and giving out a $100 rebate on the 1.0 9mm/40s&w Shields when the...

    Re: Shield 45

This is a continuation of the the friendly discussion about the Shield 45 so that I didn't detail @nmedge thread any further. ‐--------- When S&W came out with the M&P 1.0 and M&P Shield 2.0, the SKU changed between the models. All different generations and trims of S&W pistols and revolvers...

    New Shield Plus

It 8s technically a 2.0. It has the 2.0 grip, slide serrations, and every upgrade the 2.0 has except S&W changed the slide markings to be the same as the 9mm 2.0. It's not a different generation. Adding 3 characters to the slide doesn't change it to being a different Gen or model.

    New Shield Plus

I am aware that there are differences. I only made a hypocritical comparison. Let's say Springfield took the current Hellcat micro that they sell and only changed the font on the slide, would you consider that a new generation or an the same generation with different text on the slide? Shield...

    New Shield Plus

It is a 2.0 lol... that like saying if Glock changes the markings on the current 19 Gen 5, it's a whole new generation. Go to the S&W forum and inquire with others. Start a poll. There is no 1.0 Shield 45. There was the original Shield 1.0, S&W then released the Shield 45 in the Shield 2.0...

    New Shield Plus

The two have different markings on the slide, but they're identical in every way otherwise. They changed the slide in 2019. The frame, internals of the frame and slide, the mags, and the trigger are all exactly the same. Absolutely nothing will be different other than the the text engraved on...

    New Shield Plus

There is only one Shield 45 version. They all are basically 2.0s. Basically, the Shield 45 was released litteraly a few short months before the Shield 2.0 in 9mm was released. The Shield 45 and Shield 2.0 9mm are all in the same configuration. There is no Shield 45acp 1.0.... The only...
