Very interesting article. I was wondering why not aluminum until I read about the lack of heat transfer with polymer. I've been shooting a lot of aluminum through my 45s and 10 lately with great results. Since I don't have the equipment to reload it's been a nice cost saving alternative.

I have the sp101 with a spur. It's really nice to carry and my azula holster covers the hammer and makes her almost disappear IWB. Incredibly accurate for a 2 1/4" barrel too, I can hit a 8" plate at 25 yards 4/5. It's definitely snappy with 357s though.

I really don't mind them at all. I have several different striker fired pistols from different manufacturers and the one I like the least is on my M&P 2.0, it's so radically curved it doesn't fit my big fingers.

Pretty awesome, the ten thousand round test of the XDM 10 was what sold me on buying the 10. For someone with smaller hands, the hellcat is definitely a great option.

My Ruger MPR 556 came with a muzzle brake and I really like it. Definitely softens the recoil.

I love my range officer target, at ten yards I can destroy the bullseye. At 600 rounds I haven't had one single ftf or fte or stovepipe. It's my second favorite pistol right behind my XDM 10.

They didn't mention the Ruger sp101, it's built like a tank, heavy enough 357s are manageable and incredibly accurate even in a 2.25" barrel. I carry mine aiwb in a leather azula holster. It's so small and comfortable to carry I forget it's even there.

I picked mine up a couple weeks ago and it's become my favorite pistol. I got the 5.25 model with the adjustable rear sights and highly recommend it. I think it shoots softer than my M&P 40 compact. Check out xdm10k.com ten thousand rounds without a single hiccup!
