    Romeo zero on a Hellcat

You are most welcome. Two things come to mind from my experiance with the RZ on the Hellcat. The battery that came with the unit lasted only one month. The store bought battery I replaced it with at Walmart has been in for 8 months and is going strong. The one you bought is most likely fresh and...

    Romeo zero on a Hellcat

I used 9 in/lbs and blue loctite on mine. (near the bottom of the Installation section of the manual). I have thousands of rounds through mine with no issues. Make sure you have taken off enough screw length first. Many think they the need to put the screws down farther when they are really...

That looks like an improvement that's worth the small investment!

    Are Lever Actions reliable?

I have 94 Wins and Savage 99's and have not had any issues with them. However...........on an extremely cold snowy day 40+ years ago, I had a Marlin 336 in 30-30 lock up on me. Took a shot at a buck running across a field. I was low on the first shot and never could eject it. They have better...

    HELLCAT POI PROBLEM...

When I first got my Hellcat, all my groups were low and left as a righthanded shooter. A little tightening of the grip and it put them all on target. IMO..............the bigger your hands, the more pronounced this is on a sub compact gun. I saw it on my XDs when I first bought it but more so on...

Showdown: Springfield Armory Hellcat vs. Sig Sauer P365

I bought my Hellcat in February based on shooting the Sig 365. Between the two, it was the Hellcat that fit my hand very well. The Sig just didn't feel right nor did it shoot well for me. In contrast, the Hellcat shoots 30 feet better than most full size handguns I shoot. My hands prefer a Ruger...

    Romeo zero on a Hellcat

Yes but I should follow up saying I returned it and got most of my money back. The battery only lasted about a month and a half. I called and spoke to customer service and they said the battery life if set on a higher setting would last about 1-1/2 -2 months. They said in order to get the...

    RMSc for carry

I want co-witnessing for one reason. If that electronic sight fails to light, I want to be able to see my iron sights. It isn't a concern. It's a want. The chances are slim of a failure. The chances are even slimmer that it will fail when you absolutely need that weapon but I would still want...

    RMSc for carry

If you haven't tried it, get qtips, some rubbing alcohol and a can of canned air. Blow some canned air on both sides of the lens. Then dip the qtip in the alcohol and do circles lightly around the lens. Flip the qtip and with the dry end, do the same getting off as much residual alcohol as...

    Hornady’s new 6mm ARC

You know I never realized it used grendel mags. I could splurge on a quality barrel and try it. Thanks for the info.

    Hornady’s new 6mm ARC

That's the definitive edge the 6.5 has over even the most advanced 30 cal bullet. The ability to slice the wind and retain much more velocity and the associated energy between 400 and 500 yards. Only time will tell if it captures and audience of AR owners willing to top their lowers with it...

    Bait and Switch

You know it may be easier to list the companies that do a good job with their reporting of inventory and non-price gouging! A list of the bad apples will take up too much server space!

    Hellcat SMSc Zero Distance

(y)What Keystones says about zeroing the round you'll use for your EDC for sure! There may not be a definitive correct answer. I have my Hellcat w/Romeo Zero zeroed at 30 feet. (15 yards). It's a self defense gun with a 3" barrel. If you need to use it, 30 feet is a good engagement distance...

    Hornady’s new 6mm ARC

I shoot 6.5 Grendel and I love that round in an AR15. (Also a Ruger American Predator). The Grendel is established. I look for the 6mm ARC to also get a foothold as an established caliber but I don't need another caliber to sink money into. I'll stay with the 6.5G for a gas gun.

    Bent Hellcat Trigger Guard

The foul ingredient is the solvent itself in the aerosol. Brake fluid, gasoline, paint thinner. These things basically eat plastics and polymers if they aren't HD polyethylene. (what plastic gas cans and such are made of). If the plastic or polymer is soft, it will be damaged by hydrocarbon and...

    Bent Hellcat Trigger Guard

I said "when" SA introduces the Hellcat Mod II. If you look at the XP line, you see plenty of revisions or "Mod's" in their product line. Why not a HellCat Mod 2????? There are some improvements SA could make if they listen to their customers and study their returns and repair tickets. It's just...

    Bent Hellcat Trigger Guard

That is incredible but when you think about it, this area of the trigger guard USUALLY isn't made real strong and doesn't have to be. It is next to impossible to drop the gun and have it strike a surface in the middle of that span. And holster retention systems on most makes would not do this...
