    Leupold’s New DeltaPoint

I will let you all know after I get it. It may take a while as no one has them in stock.

    Leupold’s New DeltaPoint

I ordered it for my Glock 42. It looks like a great idea to me and the few reviewers that have received them rave about how easy they are to use. As I see it, having to remove it to work on or clean the firing pin is no worse than an RMR requiring removal to change the battery. In fact it is...

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

It depends on screw size. I would go with the optics recommendation as they know the screw diameter that will fit their optic. I'm not sure why you need an optics plate but almost everyone with more expertise than me recommends against them as they make the optic sit much higher.

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

I don't know the correct answer but I would think that unless the manufacturer could show how that would effect the gun such that it would not properly function the answer would be no that it wouldn't.

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

Yes, I used low speed and took it slow as it will sand off pretty quick. I don't recall exactly which attachment I used but it was a fine grain. May have been a small grinding wheel.

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

Because I am not a machinist I was worried I would screw up the job but I took my time and I was careful and I measured after each slight removal on the front posts. For an amateur I thought I did a decent job. I did think about taking it to a local machine shop as it wouldn't have been very...

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

I am not an expert on self defense and I am not Guy but there are numerous experts on YouTube that are and the majority of them recommend a red dot. See videos by Sage Dynamics and Aaron Cowan as a good place to start.

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

This is pure speculation on my part, but some of the red dot optics are polymer with thin screws (going from memory some RMRs came with thinner screws than others). They would inherently have more flex and put more force on the screws during slide recoil so the posts would act to add extra...

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

Having personally modified my Hellcat for the 507K, I can tell you it was not difficult and it is the RMR to beat for the Hellcat or the Sig P365XL. It is a fantastic and rugged sight. You can co-witness the front sight as it has the notch. A decent machines can do it in 5 minutes, it...

    RMSc for carry

If you've ever worn glasses you know that polymer lenses mar and lose their clear view over time. It keeps you buying replacements. :). It seems very difficult to obtain real glass eyewear that would last much longer and be more scratch resistant. I am surprised given the newer glass made by...

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

The quality of the Holosun sights is obvious as soon as you pick it up. Watching Sage Dynamics torture test should convince anyone in doubt. I have it mounted on my Hellcat and one on my Sig P365-XL. Currently it is on consignment with a local gun dealer for $950 which is less than I paid for...

    Hellcat SMSc Zero Distance

I usually select 5 yds to 15 yds, it depends on the longest straight line distance in your home. It also depends on the laws in your state. You might need a longer distance if you were acting in defense of another but some states don't allow that as a valid use of self defense. It's pretty...

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

With a Holosun 507K red dot, Apex trigger, JM4 Tactical Holster and extra magazine, I have over $1,132 at my cost and I bought before things went crazy. All of these items are hard to find but I want to sell it as a package. I am not looking to gouge anyone so I think I should be able to find...

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

My dilemma is that I own a Hellcat, a Sig P365-XL (both with Holosun 507K red dot sights) and and LCP 2 22LR. My better half wants me to get rid of one. For a 9mm, I like the size of the Hellcat as it is more easily concealed Than the Sig but I dislike its snappy recoil compared to the Sig...

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

I'm not a competitive shooter but with the iron sights I had no difficulty staying in a 4" group at 7 & 10 yds and 3" group at 5 yds. When I add a laser green dot the groups are tighter. My LCP 2 is 22LR. Virtually no recoil and easy to keep on target. With more practice, I would expect to...

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

To answer @Knights question about ability to mount other RMSc red dots on a slide modified for the Holosun 407K/507K, the answer is yes, it does not prevent the other red dots from mounting. The two removed posts have to be removed to maintain the water tight integrity. Unlike red dots that...

    Trijicon Mini RMR

The rear sight would have to be removed. There are dovetail mount plates that can be installed where the rear sight was but most don't consider that to be a very good solution. The other option is to have the slide milled for the red dot sight you want. The RMRcc is its own specification and...

    Trijicon Mini RMR

Your gun appears to be a full size so you may be able to put a Trijicon RMR Type 2 on it. It is (the RMR Type 2) larger so you get a bigger sight window and it costs less. I couldn't find the slide width on the Springfield web site. If it is over 1.2" it will work with the RMR Type 2, if it...

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

The laser bullets do not eject because they have no lip like a real bullet for the extractor to engage on. To remove you use a pencil to push them out.

The LaserHit app is fantastic and if you have an iPhone and AppleTV (maybe other solutions too) you can mirror your iPhone screen on a big screen TV so it is easy to see where you are hitting the target. The App will work with any target you create of you can download and print their targets or...
