The Rimfire Report: The 3 Best 22LR Pocket Concealed Carry Options

I don't have tight groups down yet but that is because I have been spoiled with red dot sights and the sights on the LCP II 22LR are just not that good. Added to that is my lack of experience using iron sights and I am not sure what the proper sight picture should be with this gun.

Get a practice laser bullet. Pink Rhino is cheap and works well. It protects your striker and gives you a visible shot location.

The Rimfire Report: The 3 Best 22LR Pocket Concealed Carry Options

I really like this little gun. So easy to conceal in a pocket holster and weighs nothing. 12oz loaded. It is quite accurate. I painted the front sight white which helps however, I would love to have a night front sight. I wish the factory offered it as an option even for more $$. With...

The Rimfire Report: The 3 Best 22LR Pocket Concealed Carry Options

I picked up the LCP II 22LR the other day. Boy, compared to 9mm the ammo is cheap! However, for those of you like me, new to 22LR a few caveats (the funny thing is from about 10 years old until I left home at 17 I had a 22 pistol, 22 bolt action rifle and a 22 over 410). Things have changed...

    Trijicon Mini RMR

If you look at the thickness of the base of the RMR and RMRcc (appears to be the same) they lack a notch like many of the RMSc base designs and thus sit too high to allow front sight visibility. Even some of the RMSc mount sights are either not notched (Swampfox, Riton) or the notch is barely...

    Trijicon Mini RMR

Don't forget to order higher sights too as you won't be able to use the existing sights. Plus you will need to make sure the screws do not extend beyond the base of the plate by more than 0.95".

    Trijicon Mini RMR

Yes, as it is 1.8" long and the cut is 1.6"

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

I usually find that I need to set the front of the sight down first until it snaps in place. Then it sits flush and the screws are tightened to 15"/lbs. The screws cannot protrude more than 0.95" on the Hellcat or you risk having problems. Properly mounted there should be no way for the sight...

    Most recommended holster for Hellcat

Remember, the only safety on a Hellcat is keeping a finger away from the trigger. A good holster protects the trigger and prevent you from accidentally engaging the trigger with your finger or another object/clothing. Most belly band holsters lack a good trigger guard. A few have recently...

    Most recommended holster for Hellcat

As long as the elastic waistband is a little wide and able to support the weight of the loaded Hellcat, the JM4 will work. The magnets are incredibly strong. If you have a vehicle with a metal dash or console you can stick it to it with the magnet and it will stay. Of course, most modern car...

    Most recommended holster for Hellcat

I'm not sure who the question is directed to, but in my case I do both. With a belt and without. It depends on the shorts.

    Most recommended holster for Hellcat

The JM4 Tactical is the most comfortable, least printing holster I have tried. I use it for my Hellcat and one for my Sig P365-XL. If you want information on sizing I will supply it. You can wear it with shorts and T shirt and it is invisible. You don't need a belt and it stays with your...

    Trijicon Mini RMR

This just seems very kludgy to me. Good luck on getting one to try out! At least the selling price for the sight and plat is less than $560. OW! What am I saying?

    Trijicon Mini RMR

You forgot you need the plate so Swampfox and two Holosun. This explains their lawsuit against Holosun. I have to wonder what great marketeer thought anyone would pay that much for a red dot that require suppressor height sights (add that cost in) and doesn't offer any tangible benefit over...

    Trijicon Mini RMR

You have to order the specific mount for your pistol that will raise it high enough to clear the rail cut as it is 1.8" long versus 1.6" for the cutout. It has a different part number for the Hellcat OSP or the Sig P365-XL. You would think that it would take the same base plate for any gun...

    Trijicon Mini RMR

At $699 + $102 for the base plate you are talking over $800 with tax and shipping. The fact that it requires a mounting plate to use on most sub compact pistols means it sits much higher than any of its competitors. It has a smaller window than the Holosun 507K at o.76" x 0.56" compared to the...

Shield RMSc Review: Improve Your Hellcat’s Reflexes

I like the JM4-Tactical high ride for in the waist band and the Pacific Leather for a reasonable OWB. Both are well made. Pacific leather specifies it is for a Hellcat with optic and on the JM4-Tactical you must specify that you want the optic cut.
