    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

Amazon sells numerous hand torque tools and some are very reasonable (under $50). Some sights recommend 9"/lbs and other give a range of 9"-15"/lbs. I think it is based on the base material and thickness. Polymer usually has the lower setting but thin Aluminum can also have the lower number...

You should use a torque driver. Recommended is around 15"/lbs.

Romeo Zero on Hellcat (Zeroing Issues)

Before you or others risk damaging your red dot please go on YouTube and videos by Sage Dynamics and other knowledgeable people comparable to him. Red Dots do not work like iron sights and you do not try to slave them to the iron sights on a pistol. The physics are completely different. You...

I saw mine shipped today. Looking forward to receiving it next week.

Romeo Zero on Hellcat (Zeroing Issues)

The proper way to align the red dot is NOT to use the iron sights. Get a bore sight (they are not expensive) and select a target and range you want to align to. I usually go for 15yds but some go for 25yds. If you are planning to shoot out to 75' go for 25yds. You then place the bore sight...

    Hellcat holsters

If you are like my wife your purse weighs a ton without a loaded pistol. Add a loaded Hellcat and that will be one heavy bag you will not want to always be carrying. Set it down and someone steals it and now they have your wallet, your address and your gun. If you are going to carry you want...

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

I have two holsters at the moment. One is a Kydex with leather backing and one is the latest JM4 Tactical Relic Series OWB made with Boltaron exterior and Herman Oak leather lined interior in Coyote Tan. It is custom made for the Hellcat with OSP. I am attaching photos of each. The JM4-Tactical...

    Ammo Deals

Our range doesn't allow steel cases so I don't even look at them.

Glad to hear you are giving it a try. They can all be hard to get at this crazy time. Like Ammo. I am finding it but paying way more than I used to.

    Hellcat holsters

By the way the Romeo 0 works very well on both the Hellcat and the P365 XL. I just don't know how rugged it is and I now it is not water proof at all. Same price as the Riton I linked above.

    Hellcat holsters

I had the RMSc (automatic) and I still have the Sig Romeo 0 (Manual) and now the Holosun 507K (Manual) and I have to say that I prefer the manual. The auto ones try but the problem is that they are responding to the light that hits the optic and not necessarily the light at the target and if...

    Hellcat holsters

There are good reviews on the site and it looks an awful lot like the Swampfox unit. Maybe made by the same company and rebranded for each.

You might want to check out this sight too. It is available now. https://www.rainierarms.com/riton-optics-x3-tactix-mprd-micro-red-dot/?avad=55963_e1ab01ab1. It is metal body and glass optics (I believe) and a good price and in stock. I don't know much more about it.

    Hellcat holsters

I'm not a fan of Kydex as I prefer leather. I have yet to find a Kydex holster that matches leather for comfort. I live in Florida where we wear shorts and Ts most of the year. Finding a holster that works in this hot humid climate minimally prints and doesn't stab you somewhere is a...

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

No the Holosun's 407K and 507K are very hard 7075T6 Aluminum. Sage Dynamics tested it and it is the only micro red dot they have recommended having survived their 4 drop tests in 2000 rounds of firing (a drop from shoulder height on concrete every 500 rounds). Testing continues. While not as...

    Hellcat OSP Optic choices

A few things to keep in mind about the reticle choices on the 507K. 32 MOA is 32" at 100 yds but only 3.2" at 10 yds and 1.6" at 5 yds. A 2 MOA center dot is 2" at 100 yds but 0.02" at 10 yds and 0.01" at 5 yds. I can't speak for how well you shoot but a 2" circle is where I am at 10 yds slow...
