    H2 Buffers "out of stock"

Like a few have already said, Contact Primary Arms tomorrow Perhaps they will be able to advise you if a special buffer is needed. KAK also sells kit to make buffer any weight you may need.

Should You Reload Your Own Ammo?

The only way you can really afford to shoot much any more is to reload. Luckily I have enough material in the reloading shed and about 37 sets of dies from over 50 years that I can reload for all but two of the firearms that I have. The only reason I can not load for them is I sold the...

My Saint Victor AR (16”) short-strokes like crazy with PMC .223 specifically

I had same problem with a couple of my ARs. Went to a heavier buffer and it seems to have taken care of the problem. Not sure it will work for you but worth a try if you are going to keep shooting PMC ammo.

    Dumb Dumb!

I did something similar using an antique WWI wool blanket. Forgot my rest when shooting my .357 Mag revolver. Did not think of the cylinder gap gasses and it burned a hole in the blanket.

Smith and Wesson needs to step it up!

Son gave me a T/C Contender .44 Mag barrel made for shot cartridges with a removeable choke. Put it on my T/C Contender frame and could not open it . Sent it to S&W as they now own T/C. Sent it back to me fixed in about three weeks. Turns out it was for old frames and had to be fixed to...

    Can Browning's Masterpiece Be Surpassed?

Love the 1911 but just too heavy for EDC. Once carried one in a Jackass rig with two spare mags for off duty. My shoulders and back were really hurting by the end of the day. Much easier to carry my Glock 30 and with Glock 21 mag gives me 13 rounds instead of 7, 8 or 10. Glock 29 with 15...

    Giving it a try again…….

Good luck and have fun. I will be hunting again this year. Hopefully will have better luck as I can see much better after getting Cataract surgery. Last year daughter went out with me. She saw deer but I did not and she was sitting in same blind.

What’s the Best Reflex Sight Dot Color?

Good article. I am not surprised with his conclusion that the gold dot was best for him. I have been replacing red inserts with yellow on my handguns for over 30 years. I can just see the yellow better on all backgrounds. Just my 2 cents. ;)

Potent Potables (aka What’s your poison?)

Can't drink any more but used to enjoy Bock Beer or JP Scotch with water occasionally. Never really drank that much especially after being a Midnight Sergeant for 18 years and dealing with intoxicated people all the time.

    Shooting Gloves

When I was working patrol I always used polypropylene glove liners in the winter. They kept your hands warm but still gave you dexterity. I still have a few pair I use for hunting. Not sure they are even made anymore.

    UN gun registry?

I would not put anything past this senile old man. I still wonder who is pulling his strings. I am sure if he tried this the Supreme Court would not allow it as it is a direct violation of the Second Amendment.

What Are the Best Pistol Sights for Old Eyes?

I am battling "old eyes" myself. Had one cataract removed and have the other eye done next week. A good article. One possible solution that was not mentioned is the Mepro Bullseye Sight. I have one on my Glock 30 45 ACP It replaces the rear sight on a number of different models. The...

Do earbuds work in an indoor range?

We required police recruits to double up with ear plugs and muffs when they shot on an indoor range. I used just my Walker game ear electronic muffs and they worked very well. That allowed me to hear what was going on and supervise the recruits
