Just because a gun writer lists a certain group of guns as the top choices for EDC doesn't necessarily mean that one of that group is the best for you. It's certainly a good place to start, but you need to do your research and check out all your options.

Good article. The bottom line for these gun control groups is to eliminate personal gun ownership and anything they can do to further their objective is fair game.

My area gun store has had a used EMP in 40 cal for sale for several months that I have been watching. They want close to $800 for it and that has been holding me back, but I think a 40 cal Springfield EMP would be the perfect package.

I keep weapons strategically placed throughout the house and would generally not carry one on me while in my home. The current crisis has changed that and I now carry a weapon on me at all times and I have elevated my vigilance of what is going on around me. "Preparation, not paranoia."

Let's face it, carrying concealed is not a comfort inducing proposition. The best you can hope for is finding the least uncomfortable equipment and carry position and getting used it.

I CCW a .22 mag quite often. Do I feel under gunned? Maybe a little. Last I heard though, most people have an aversion to getting shot regardless of what caliber it is.
