I generally carry a Kershaw 3/4 Ton, I find the overall size/shape of the blade to be just about perfect for any typical day to day uses I have. Holds an edge well and is regularly found for under $20, so I don't feel bad if it goes missing or gets abused a little.

I really like my Mil-Spec 1911, but I think my overall favorite is my suppressor ready XDM .45 in FDE. Although my XD Mod.2 SC is a close second.

I generally run mine carry guns 'stock', no real reason other than I just prefer to. That said, I do typically change out to night sights if they didn't come with the gun. Still need to get around to this with my XD Mod 2 SC since I've been carrying that 99% of the time lately.
