Every review I have read/seen, says the Prodigy isn't all that good, and that there are much better pistols available at a much lower price. The Canik SF is mentioned often.
I have 2 concealed carry weapons. A SCCY CPX2 10 + 1, 143 Gr JHP, and a SA XDe45 7 + 1, 230 GR JHP. Love them both. But, I am carrying the XDe more often these days, because of the damage I can dish out per round.
I often hear..." you have to go to driving school an pass a test to drive a car", from the make guns hard to get crowd. Obviously they don't understand the difference between a " right" and a "priveledge". That being said, anyone that buys a gun and does not seriously learn how it works and...
I put a C/T on a SCCY CPX 2 and used a bore sight laser to set it at 25 feet. It activates when you grip the pistol. After verifying it at the range, it's now my wife's CCW pistol. 147 gr JHP's give it some punch, and 2 mags give her 21 get out of trouble cards to play.
I carry an SA XDe 45, owb nearly all the time. Commander holster and a 2 mag holder on the left side. My "big" pistol is a Ruger P95, which resides in a shoulder holster with 2 extra mags on the right side. It doesn't get out much during the summer.
My main gripe about Glocks is most of the people that own them. Ya know the ones...anything but a Glock is crap , and instead of a gun safe they put them on an altar and do religious chants before bed time.
SA XDe 45 cap in a Versacarry Commander. Also have a DeSantis Mini Scabbard for it as well. Also have a dbl mag pouch, so either have 21 or 28 rounds ready.
A lot of women, AND men, that venture out could/ should pay attention to your writings. Be aware and be prepared. Look often, listen always, and stand your ground determined. Stay safe out there, young lady.
"Ammo Wars", the sequel. Same old "my bullet's better than your bullet" nonsense. It all boils down to "skill", not "caliber". Like the man said, a well placed .22 beats the hell out of a 50AE miss.
Versacarry Commander for my XDe .45, with a single mag pouch on the left side. Gives me 21 rounds on hand. Also have a Mini Scabbard I use if I am doing a lot of driving or sitting, with a double pouch. More comfortable on long drives, same 21 rounds.
And consider you ammunition. Hollow points tend to stay in an assailant's body, and not rip through him and walls. Frangable bullets break apart and create schrapenal inside the body as well. Finocci has a new defence round that penetrates flesh handily, but will destroy itself coming into...
