    Lower Prodigy rear sight?

If you think the stock irons are off from the factory, I'd highly suggest calling SA Customer Service and having them fix it. Long as you're the original owner they'll do it for free. I had zero issues with my Prodigy's stock irons, they were dead on target.

    Update: prodigy issues

I had a handful of FTF and FTE but I picked mine up first day they were available to the public. SN in the 3000's. Quick round trip to SA fixed it up - at least 3500rds through it now. Still hands down the best shooting pistol I have.

    Update: prodigy issues

Yep, almost the same repair list as mine had. They definitely know what needs to be done to make it run like a champ now.

I'm a man of my word

I have the SP9A1 with the non reciprocating charging handle and it's amazing. PSA has it on sale frequently for $699 and sometimes $669. Cannot beat the price and the 8" barrel is perfect. Very well made and super reliable.

    Prodigy Upgrades

I've got at least 3500 rounds through my Prodigy. It went back to SA for a few FTF's but came back with no issues and has been running great ever since. The only upgrades I put into it was a Dawson Precision one-piece guide rod and Dawson Precision magwell. Everything else is perfect, trigger...

My Stribog eats the other half of my 9mm already though! :(

My Prodigy keeps eating all my bullets so I never have any for the others :(

Love to see it! Glad you're enjoying it. There's just something about the Prodigy that makes it so much fun at the range.

Not a huge fan of the two-piece guide rod myself - However! Forum members here suggested this. The Dawson Precision one piece, tool-less guide rod for the 5" Prodigy is an absolutely amazing upgrade. Highly recommend it if the stock one makes your eye twitch, like it did mine  I put one...

    What have I done…

I am VERY interested in hearing a comparison between the RIA and Prodigy after you'd had a chance to test it out. I still haven't gotten the chance to test the RIA yet :(

New Double Stack 1911 Offering From Kimber

Interesting for sure and it'll probably sell well, but sort of odd specs wise in my opinion. It's like they made a hybrid between a carry pistol and a range plinker. Aluminum frame... but stainless steel slide, bull barrel but fluted and only 15rd mags that are proprietary. It's not exactly...

The handgun of the future is here, chuckle chuckle.

I work in IT implementing new tech, pushing for newer systems, etc. and THIS makes me cringe. It WILL get hacked at some point. How bad? Who knows yet. I feel like it was inevitable but it's still a bad idea.

    A positive Prodigy thread.

I had mine in hand the day it was released, the very first batch to be sold to the public. I expected there might be some teething issues, like, almost every product that's put out these days, not just firearms. Sure I had to send it in, but it cost me a grand total of 20 mins and zero dollars...

    A positive Prodigy thread.

Mine had a handful of FTF's but after a very quick trip to SA it's been flawless for over 3000 rounds. It's the best shooting pistol I've shot hands down. My father and a couple friends tried it at the range and bought one of their own shortly after.

First Look: Springfield 1911 DS Prodigy 9mm

If it does use the same mags... One might find a new home in my range bag

    Optic plate price

Given this... Pretty clear that Agency Arms increased the price of the plates in general, it wasn't just an SA decision.
