I called Springfield and they said the manufacture date of this P9C was June of 1989. Pretty cool!

Florida. First time buying a used firearm. If it was sitting in the display case for over 30 days before I bought it, I could have walked home with it that day. (I have a license, 3 day wait with no license) But I just bought it the day after the guy sold it to the GS. Not worried about it...

Same one that came with the gun. Just had to call up Vortex and have them send me the correct screws. They sent them free of charge.

Yea, that's exactly what I was told. The GS bought it off someone and there's a 30 day wait period where the Sherriff checks it out to make sure it's clean before they can legally sell it to someone else. I have no reason to believe it's not clean, but peace of mind is not a bad thing at all.

Part of the reason I got it was to protect the polymer. Not a perfect fit but who knows when someone will actually make one for the Prodigy. Actually surprised no one does yet since they all don't come with one.

Might as well post a few pictures for interested parties. I love it.
