ONTARGET, I feel your pain. I've been here awhile and while I generally feel "at home" here, I too am annoyed by thread drift and other foolishness here. All I can tell you is that every thread isn't for everybody, and I've learned when it's time to check out of a thread early, before I waste...

I believe the thread topic is favorite childhood cartoon, with the example being Jonny Quest. If we want to talk about modern adult cartoons, that could be a good thread, too--but a very different one.

Warner Bros. cartoons, especially Road Runner. Rocky and Bullwinkle. George of the Jungle. Flintstones. Jetsons. And, when much younger, Clutch Cargo, but only for the VERY cool airplanes.
