I have my own range with ar500 gongs set up for pistol, 100, 200 and 250 yards so it's no issues. My gun club is a couple miles away and there are the same issues occasionally. I only shoot the 400 yard range at the club. Offenders get reported.

My woods/truck gun is a S&W 629 3" barrel. I added a red dot optic last year. No issues hitting my 100 yard gong.

I put a red dot on my S&W 629 3 inch barrel revolver and ran into a problem finding a holster. I stumbled onto Simply Rugged Holsters and they made me a holster. I also ordered the Chesty Puller system. Fantastic rig, easy to adjust and very comfortable to wear.
