I see this opinion regularly. Other than LE in uniform, is there a record of this happening to civilians? Not trying to start an argument. I carry concealed. Other people should do whatever they want.

I have a Marlin Model 1893 in .38-55 made in 1917. All original parts. Still works fine.

I live a sedate lifestyle in a rural area. My EDCs are 11+1 and 15+1. I have spare mags in the truck and a 19+1 Glock with spare mag. So unless on a road trip, no extra mag for EDC.

The trigger pull on mine was pretty bad out of the box. I shot 150 rounds and then replaced stock with Powder River Precision. Great improvement. Pistol has been totally reliable. Not crazy about the sights. Would prefer night sight on the rear. All in all, one of my favorite carry guns...

I was upset when manufacturers moved it to a stalk on the steering wheel column. Very difficult to reach with my foot.

Shoot it at the range before you send it in. As Hans says, the trigger doesn't reset unless the slide is racked. Either by hand if dry firing or as a result of shooting live ammunition.

You said Kel Tecs are ugly. My comment was intended to imply that appearance has little to do with functionality, reliability, or value. While I have other firearms, my Kel Tecs (Sub 2000, PF9, PMR 30, P3AT, P11) are reliable and fill a niche in my arsenal.

Did it shoot high with the original sight or after you put the Buffington on it? Is your firearm a rifle or a carbine? Is the Buffington marked C for carbine or R for rifle?

Purchased a Hellcat Pro about a year ago with Gear Up promotion. Five magazines and the range bag. Wouldn't expect them to give me free mags and a bag for the SA 1911 I purchased 25 years ago.

I have a nice Baby Browning, about as mouse as it gets. I don't carry it. Couple of NAAs, .22LR and .22 Mag. KelTec P3AT and a Kahr .380 occasionally carried, mostly as backup. The world as it is leads me to carry bigger guns.
