    Conceal Carry Reciprocity

Want to bet if these people are all for handing out drivers' licenses to illegal aliens? Personally, I'm conflicted about national Concealed Carry Reciprocity. I like the idea but my trust in the Gov. to not screw it up seven ways to Sunday is at an all-time low. We might be better off leaving...

    Veteran's Day Musings

Oh I should add that I refuse to go to the VA even though I'm eligible, JMHO it steals time a $ away from those who earned it.

    Veteran's Day Musings

Serious question. Maybe It's my screwed up head, or the fact that I grew up around so many WWII & Korea vets, as well as returning solders from Vietnam. I always thought/felt that "veteran" meant combat or at least served in a theater of war, to include "peace action" or any other mumbo-jumbo...

November 10, 1775, Birth of the U.S. Marine Corps

The quickest way to hurt a Jar Head. Throw sand against the wall and tell him to hit the beach ;) A Marine and a Grunt walk into the bathroom. The grunt finishes and starts to leave. The marine says "Hay in the USMC they taught us to wash our hands." The Grunt replies " In the army they...

    Gun pranks gone wrong

I remember someone telling me you can tell a poisonous snake from a non-poisonous snake by the shape of their eyes. I replied that if I can see the shape of their eyes, I'm too close. Same applies here.

The Four Federal Gun Control Efforts Trump Should Dismantle on Day One

JMHO, Trumps support for the 2A is more theoretical and more of a convenience than a conviction. Still, light years ahead of the alternative. I suspect he feels there are more important issues than nationwide CCW reciprocity or suppressors. Say getting the economy back on track, Illegal...

Mitigating Recoil: How to Hold a Shotgun and Tame the “Kick”

    (y) But ya don't ease it back and then forward either like your scared of it or afraid it will break. Run it like you meant it, like you have a purpose, that don't mean abuses.

Training vs. Experience — Why Criminals Can Still Win

"In some parts of society, violence is a way of climbing the social ladder. Until you’ve lived in that world, it’s all just theory — something you’ve read and claim to understand, but you don’t. Not really." As a retired prison guard, I can say with some authority. No truer words were ever spoken.

Is it time for national carry?

Disagree. I think Trump likes the military just fine especially solders, it's the woke, corrupt, thieving DOD, that he has trouble with. Plus, War Hawks, and the never-ending conflicts that drain American blood and American $. Then maybe I'm just projecting my feeling onto Trump.

Is it time for national carry?

Not to mention a lot of "gun people" buy into that "We don't want to ban guns, just reasonable gun control" and voted accordingly to Orange Man Bad. JMO, Trumps support for the 2A is theoretical at best, more of a convenience than a conviction. There are other bigger issues that need...

Mitigating Recoil: How to Hold a Shotgun and Tame the “Kick”

I don't know how many times on a qualification range I have taken new officers aside and explained how to hold and run a pump gun. Range officer/ trainers would go over safety, the mechanics of a shotgun and then off to shoot we would go leaving new shooter to get kicked all over the place...

What is realistic solution to the criminal elements…

Sorry but NOPE. As children we all enjoy/suffer the consequences of the actions of our parents. This is just a work around to allow some who are no supposed to be here stay. How do we know that the child is a child of that adult? DNA test. Who pays for that? Plus we would have to have...

What is realistic solution to the criminal elements…

I forgot to mention we need to revisit the 14th Amendment. 14A was an abolitionist answer to the American Colonization Society and their wingnut ideas about Liberia. It was not intended to allow a foreign national to give birth on US soil and produce an American Citizen.

What is realistic solution to the criminal elements…

Realistic solution. Start shut down the border. No you can't stop everyone, but, we can do 1000X better than we are, and illegal entry is automatic deportation and never to be able to hold a visa or green card. Next with no taxpayer funded help. No food, medical, housing, nothing, nada, zip...

Whose watching the view today ??

If I had live TV I would. Just for the comic relief of watching the silly cow's meltdown. I could take probably 5-10 min. I'm betting none leave. Just like the Dutchess of Suckit promised to leave and never return, she's still here. Bonehead Bono promising to drive his car off a cliff, and...
