    No assumption made. I stated my opinion that 2 to 4 weeks is excessive for a 10-minute repair. If I had some sort of inside knowledge on the number of techs they had and their workload, which I don't, it would be an assumption. You have yourself a great day.

    I don't assume that I'm the only customer. You know what assuming does. But still, 2 to 4 weeks to change out a front sight is a bit on the excessive side.

    I sent the slide off and they received it on Monday5-4-20. I called on Friday and was quoted an average repair time of 2 to 4 weeks! A front sight should only take 10-15 minutes max to change out. I can't say that I'm too impressed by Springfield's speed when it comes to simple repairs.
