A Deadly Load for the 32 H&R Magnum

The .32 Mag. is perfect for the Single Six and the wife enjoys hers. Smaller hands fit the grip better than a standard size Ruger or Colt. Her loads take down knockdown shotgun targets easily and still are comfortable to shoot. I see other people using heavier .38 loads just for knockdowns...

What are you doing right now??

I rediscovered Black Sails on Roku (free, just sign up). If you don't know, it's a pirate serial with lots of sex and violence, so it can't be all bad. Most smart TVs have Roku on their channel line up.

What are you doing right now??

The family and I drove to Grand Forks, ND for my brother's wedding in January. Nasty snow on the way meant driving in the middle of two lane highways. The day of looked beautiful outside from inside the house, but it was -20 for a high and everything was snow covered.

What are you doing right now??

I used to think a water pic was a gimmick, but have changed my tune. I'm a diabetic and old, too besides having other issues. These flush out food debris and I believe they toughen the gums at the very base. My wife is much better at doing it all and her pockets have been reduced in depth. The...

What are you doing right now??

I admire your skill. Many years ago I was a nuclear welder and then Three Mile Island happened. Today we seem to have a plethora of activists and influencers instead of people that actually add to society.

New to Springfield and might become more interested.

Welcome. One good thing about America is that we have a lot of choice and there is a crapload of guns out there, so there is something for everyone. Talk to a lot of folks and they would likely tell you of their journey, what they liked and acquired over the years. They might even tell you of...

What are you doing right now??

I spent hours last night and today trying to unlock my mail account after replying to a group email. After I told my wife what I was doing, she said in an offhand manner that one of the guys had their computer hacked. :cautious::eek: I won't go into more embarrassing detail as you would probably...

    Daffy Zone…..

The government spent $1.2 Billion researching which came first, the chicken or the egg. 150,000 pages in a report compiled over three years, but the administration refuses to release it saying it threatens national security. Congress has dropped all other business so it can concentrate on this...

    Daffy Zone…..

Anyone notice the announcer at UFC wears a sport coat that looks like it was made from some old ladies drapes? I'm watching the prelims now, they're free.

    Daffy Zone…..

Spin them a story, no reason to tell the truth. Just don't make it too unbelievable. No Corn Pop, cannibal uncles, etc. Right?

What are you doing right now??

Reminds me of changing a water pump. 4 bolts on a Chevy, no scraped knuckles and about 15 minutes in a parking lot. 16 or 18 on a German V6, metric no less. I'm not sure about scraped knuckles, it was long ago. No more engine swaps, replacing clutches or trying to stab the 4 speed trans by...

Took the old couch to the dump today. It weighed 220 lbs. The new one is powered and is likely heavier. Good thing my wife is younger. 💪

What are you doing right now??

I'm recovering from buying a sofa yesterday for the wife's birthday. I could have paid to have it delivered, but we had a truck and ratchet straps. It's replacing a 20 year old leather recliner that is a swallower on one side. The other side doesn't recline anymore so that seat doesn't have that...

What Cartridges Would Stop A Sasquatch Dead in its Tracks?

It's not the round, it's the placement. If you can't shoot a fist sized group at 7 yards, you're asking for it in Sasquatch country.

Reloading on the Move: Is it Feasible?

I was thinking this was about swift reloading aka John Wick, 3 Gun matches, etc. Some of the folks I see traveling the country shooting matches with their RVs have a small trailer that is their reloading setup on wheels. Most others would take their loaded ammo on the road to cover what they...
