Dodge trucks, never mind this RAM B.S.

trader... A fellow ran a red light doing about 35 or so and took the front end off the truck. That weird, dished dent in the hood was caused by a steel street light pole that I skidded into. The Ford was totally dead with an engine that had completely come loose from the frame. My Ram still ran...

Dodge trucks, never mind this RAM B.S.

I've owned other brand trucks but the majority of my truck purchases have been Dodge/Ram. I started with a 1967 Camper's Special with a 318 cu. in. V-8: Then, it was a 1989 Power Ram with the 5.9L 360 cu. in. V-8: A Ford gasser & a GMC were purchased. I also purchased a project, that...

New Hampshire residents take on Massachusetts gun laws

This could easily be tried with regards to Oregon gun laws as well. Oregon CCW permits are actually issued by the county of the permit holder's residence. Oregon does not recognize other states CCW issues and, unless you are an Oregon resident, you will not be issued a CCW permit except in...

looks like another "waking up" to the facts.

Ask the folks who live in Aurora, Colorado how that whole sanctuary thing, voted in by Denver's city council, is working for them.

    New to Red/Green Dot Sights

Correction to my first post: I have the Holosun HE507K-GR X2 which does not have the solar panel on it. In answer to your question, I don't feel the feature is a necessity given the shake awake/auto sleep feature which saves on battery usage. Also, unlike some optics, you don't have to remove...

    New to Red/Green Dot Sights

I have a Holosun HE507K-G X2 green dot with Multiple Reticle System, 2MOA dot in a 32MOA circle, on my Echelon. I've used others, which I will list below, but I like the operation and features of this particular unit. I chose green as I can see it easier than red. I have a Hellcat RDP with an...

Gee, who would have thought? (Drug laws)

Orygun was never a state to do what was needed. They always take it way over the top. I miss my home state but not the state government there. They need to clean that place out. It's a cesspool of liberalism, greed, failure and tyranny.

    FREE MONEY TO ILLEGALS

Well, we all know who is going to cover the interest to be paid on the "loan". Heck, why not increase the deficit further for the sake of inclusion.

    Losing my dad

It's never a bad thing for you nor your audience to vent a bit, sharing what your life has been like and blowing off a bit of steam. I lost my Father very slowly as he became another person due to Alzheimer's and dementia. It is very difficult to reconcile what is with what was. He was a...

Why Every Handgun Owner Should Own a Pistol Caliber Carbine

I like how my CMMG, in .45ACP, looks and shoots. It's damn accurate, felt recoil is much less than firing a .45ACP pistol, and it holds a LOT more rounds than a .45ACP pistol. I like my .45ACP pistols but when you want to reach out a bit more to double tap the bad guy, this ain't a bad way to go.

Urban Violent Crime & Legal Gun Ownership: A Story of Geographical Assault in the U.S.

I agree with the concept of racial profiling no matter what nationality, color or creed the bad guys ascribe to. Rather, treat it like a gang issue, not an immigrant issue as we don't even know how to protect our own borders so we are in part creating our own issue. Despite the "sanctuary...

Another short-sighted vision of Utopia has once again violated the sanctity of the law-abiding citizen.

    Optics Variable Interface System

I believe that SA should add this feature to any of their handguns that will accommodate an optic, such as the Hellcat Pro, OSP and RDP models. Looks like it would be a minor design change for those pistols and since they already have the design and plans for the Echelon this would not be a big...

Do Pistol Bullet Grain Weights Really Matter?

For my Echelon to function properly with the compensator on it I stepped up to 147gr ammo with excellent results over the 115gr I was using. So, yeah...I believe bullet weight makes a difference for many reasons.

    Speed loader ....

The Maglula will fit 9mm & .45ACP magazines, double & single stack, with no problem. It is not a custom fit to brand product. Rather, it is a well-made and versatile loader that covers a wide range of magazines.

    Hellcat RDP compensator issue

The first time I tried to remove the comp I ran into the same problem. I used a short piece of plastic rod to insure I depressed the lever far enough.

    Red Dot

DITTO. What did you have mounted on the XDM? There is a lot of flexibility in the Echelon VIS mounting system. Just scroll down in the link @hworth18 posted above for the VIS pin set needed if your optic is listed there. There are other options but start with the link first.
