Recommendation for IWB holster for my new Hellcat Pro

If you're looking for an all leather holster try Mitch Rosen or JT Holsters. For Kydex, I've had good luck with Outlaw Holsters. Didn't check if any of these companies have a Pro model version, but all of these companies offer Hellcat holsters and are easy to deal with and flexible in terms of...

Review: Blade-Tech Nano IWB Holster for the Hellcat

Honestly, you can't go wrong with Mitch Rosen. For about a week, I have now been using my Mitch Rosen Clipper with my Ronin EMP3 for appendix carry and it is working great! In fact, I ordered another IWB from them today (USD II SF) and they will actually make it to fit the Ronin EMP3 even...

What Nearly Being Gutted in a Parking Lot Taught Me

Good article. Thanks for the info. Knives can be very deadly and difficult to defend against. The related articles listed at the bottom of this article appear to be worth reading. (y)

    Kimber and Springfield 1911s…

Man, what a hassle! So sorry for your trials and tribulations. Whatever fantasy I was entertaining of buying a Kimber similar in size to the Ronin EMP 3 (so hard to find the REMP3 w/o being gouged) has now evaporated. I would’ve thought that replacing the barrel would be the most efficient, cost...

Californians Are Running Out of Handguns the State Will Allow Them to Purchase (Legally)

Man, what a story. Way to hang in there. Did any of the attitudes from the WW2 vets ever change? Are you back with the VFW?

    Gun Control May 17

Thinking the same, but also thinking of an EDC with increased round capacity to be able to increase the odds of some shots hitting non-armored area.

Thanks for all the responses and suggestions. 👌👍 A lot for me to mull over 🤔 Have some training and instruction coming up, and I will definitely be asking a lot of questions on all the issues raised here.

So either .45 or 9mm with head shot, not center mass?

    Gun Control May 17

So should we be assuming from here on out that assassins like this will be wearing body armor? If so, what type of round would you carry in, shall we say, a concealed 9 mm? If a penetrating round, that might increase likelihood of collateral damage, so . . .

Californians Are Running Out of Handguns the State Will Allow Them to Purchase (Legally)

Thank you for sharing. Fascinating, because I would never have thought that WWII vets would’ve been so judgmental of ‘Nam vets.

    LEHIGH AMMO/WILSON COMBAT

Very interesting video. Some of the same or similar technology seems to be used in the new NORMA self defense round, the NXD. NORMA NXD Haven't tried either WC Xtreme Defense (90gr) or the NORMA NXD (65gr), but hope to!

What would you recommend to a non-gun person for concealed carry?

Back to the Kimber Micro 9 and mags issues . . . It is almost as though Kimber is tacitly admitting an issue with their mags by releasing a 7-round TacMag (as they call it) for the princely sum of over $50! 💸 So happy I didn't buy the TacMag, because I've read some reports that even that mag has...

What would you recommend to a non-gun person for concealed carry?

It’s also more often that not the same with the Kimber, although the mag release is also a culprit. Have replaced both the mags and the release, and just when I think I’m on a good run and almost there, the extractor starts to act up. Pain in the ass and too much high maintenance for me at this...
