I wouldn’t want to shoot myself anywhere. Bullets look like they might hurt a whole lot. But I’ve been carrying appendix ever since I started carrying years ago and I aint shot myself yet. The not so secret secret: a good holster and training.

I love appendix carry. Works great for me even with bigger sized ‘compact pistols’. But then again, I don’t have the extra bits and pieces that you guys do.

I had to send mine back too. They had to remold the thing. It finally fit the gun on the second try. I still buy the cushions though... I just use them on non-Clinger holsters.

yup... just buy extra Velcro dots. It’s called the clinger cushion. It’s basically almost identical to the backing that attaches to mag holders from places like Alien Gear/Vedder. I don’t know who has the idea first. As for the article, I’ve tried the heel cushion but it was too thick for me...

The Sig wouldn’t be good for SD for me since I’m not as good with it BUT it feels great in my hand. I carry my USP compacts in .357 sig because I’m scary accurate with them. 3 shots /3 yards/3 seconds all day with those guns.

Yup actually my favorite striker fired gun is the VP9sk. If I ever go back to strikers and the 9 mm caliber, I’m making a bee line for that gun. That PPQ is nice too. The most comfortable gun for my hand is the Sig 320c, however, I was a lot more accurate, out of the box, with the HK.

This right here. If I could keep only one gun it would be my Expert. I swear there’s a lil leprechaun in the gun that allows it to shoot itself. I just wish the grip wasn’t as wide as it is. I’m a girl in case you guys didn’t know that.

I bet... I just bought a bunch of spare parts and mags from BCM last week. I was kinda surprised they had the basic stuff but I noticed that all of the main parts were out of stock. Me too. I’m not buying any more guns until this here situation calms down. All I’m buying now is required ammo...

I got a Saint (the basic one) because I wanted to see if I could grow to like the platform. I haven’t had much chance to shoot it other than to sight it in, but I like it a lot so far.

Nice! I lucked out and scored several hundred rounds of GoldDots about a week before my AR arrived at my LGS. I’m so glad I didn’t wait until the AR arrived because everything was all gone bye bye by then.

Yup, your situation is different from mine in that I ‘needed’ an AR. I am not fond of 9 mm. I’ve had two over the course of past few years and I sold both. My .357sig, .40s&w, and .45acp are great but I did feel a sudden need for an AR this year. I just waited longer than I should have.

Unless you are stupid like me and wait to get a gun you ‘need’ until a crisis happens. And that gun is a totally different caliber from everything else in your arsenal. Better late than never BUT don’t be stupid like me.

It’s a tough question. I think it comes down to a persons situation / comfort level. Live alone? Kids in other rooms? Neighbors house close by? Me, personally, I use either an AR, a shotgun, or a .45 for home defense...and the .45 is the last resort. The AR is usually fed hollowpoints or 55gr...
