I do not have optics installed on my handguns (my HKs would require slide milling) but if I did, this would definitely be the way to go. I have a few of these. For the most part, I like them for little guns if simply placing a loaded mag in a pocket is not your thing. They are a bit expensive for what they are though.

My bro has one and he shoots Hornady Critical Defense and Rem Golden Sabers. I have a German PPKs and a PPK; they are finicky as all hell regarding ammo. But his Bersa doesn’t seem to care what it eats.

If I were you, I wouldn’t rely on FMJ... and if I had known that a gun I wanted to buy had problems cycling hollow points, then I would not have bought that particular gun. But if I found that out after buying the gun, then I would buy a box of several different brands of hollowpoints in order...

When I had a 9 mm, I carried only Federal HST and Speer Gold Dots (147 gr). The guns were a M&P and a CZ Rami. Never had any problems with that ammo in those guns. I still rely on Federal for my .40 and .357 mag but my other guns seem to prefer different ammo. For example, my tiny Walther loves...
