The Shooting Paradox: Slow Down to Speed Up

I think the part of what is missing here is what is an "accurate shot?" There are plenty of examples of people being shot by law enforcement and taking multiple shots to the torso and staying in the fight. While I 100% agree that one shot that hits its target is better than 18 that miss, it's...

Florida Open Carry Just Got Very Real

sure, that can happen. What I am saying is I see oepn carry in my town maybe once a month or so. I have never, ONCE, never, had a moment of heistation or concern for my or my family's safety. I will intentionally walk down the aisle they are in or get behind them in line. Becuase I see...

Florida Open Carry Just Got Very Real

Becuase thungs don't open carry. They tuck it in their waistband under a tshirt or hoodie You can instantly spot if a open carry guy is a good guy

Florida Open Carry Just Got Very Real

Open carry is isn't stupid. We've been conditioned to think it is. Open carry is just another way to carry, and everyone should carry. If open carry was more common, no one would even think about it. I LOVE open carry. It's 100% legal where I live and unfortunately, not very common. I get...

Florida Open Carry Just Got Very Real

I love it. I'd love to see more of it. I would love to see open carry of both pistols and rifles become "normal." Make American gun again

President Trump also wants to pass a law making a CCL valid in all 50 states, like a drivers license. This was in a post from We the People holster co

Would be a better route, but, I don't see Congress making it happen. Most likely the country will go Dem at mid-terms and then we're screwed for years You're right, a SOCTUS would require that. But those cases happen. They just nee dot take one. But there are plenty of cases of people being...

    Why revolvers?

I am talking about a law enforcement situation. There are several reasons why law enforcement officers carry the capacity they do, and reloads.

    Why revolvers?

I do like revovlers. My Heritage 22 comes with me for every range trip. It is one of my favorites to shoot. I have shot some nice revolves. Shooting in a static range, they are awesome. Some day I will be a decent revolver in a real caliber. But being active law enforcement, there is no way I...

I think SOCTUS could possibly fiex this. That's how same sex marriage got recoginzed. Not through Congress, but the courts Honestly, the moment that happened, that should have created conceal carry reciprocity.

    Another parking spot shooting

Honestly, I think we need MORE of this Then MAYBE people won't be so quick to pop off over stupid stuff People need to realize that the FO part is real and then maybe they will stop FA

President Trump also wants to pass a law making a CCL valid in all 50 states, like a drivers license. This was in a post from We the People holster co

There's literally no need for any of that, and no Constitutional support for it. Full faith and credit act overs it. Done No argument. Have a valid permit in one state? Good you can carry in all 50 and DC. There's simply no reason to add to it

    Why revolvers?

Terrible trigger pull in double action, ridiculously limited capacity and more difficult and timely reload

    Why revolvers?

And a far better choice than a revolver

    Another self-defense shooting in Florida

I usually agree with Colion. One thing he didn't adress here. And maybe he dind't have the info But everything I read, it says she got out of the car and immediately start pointing the gun at him. Still incredibly stupid on the man's part, but, to me, that nullifies self defense and...

    Another self-defense shooting in Florida

Key Requirements Lawful Presence: The individual must be in a location where they have a legal right to be. Trespassing or being in a restricted area disqualifies the defense . Not Engaged in Criminal Activity: Stand Your Ground does not apply if the person is committing, attempting, or...

Idaho now accepting volunteers for firing squad of death row inmates

I have been wanting to move to Idaho, anyway. Like, really, I have. I love the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, but, obviously, I can't stand Washington or Oregon Idaho is still very conservative. Now, this is icing on the cake I wonder if my time in law enforcement in PA would transfer?

    Another self-defense shooting in Florida

I would convict here. That's simply not reasonable. One on one, no weapon on the victim, and no actual show of any intent to actually do any violence, let alone serious bodily harm or death. Taking someoene's life is the most serious thing, and you can't just do it becuase....

    Another self-defense shooting in Florida

that would be a travesty, and a perversion of self defense laws. Self defense with lethal force should only be when you are in reasonable fear for your life or serious bodily injury I don't think a one on one situation, where one isn't armed, is reasonable fear for your life. Unless one is an...
