    Mine is very slight also, an mm or less, and have to make a point to push it down. I guess I have to remind myself that this is not a Nighthawk Custom.

    Thank you guys. I’m new to 1911/2011 and I read this is more prevalent in production guns and less so with high end custom ones. I'll give them a call and see what they say.

    I'll give them a call and see what they say. I did saw a post on another forum stating the same but as long as the safety is functional, I shouldn't worry about it.

    Thank you. It's slight that I can hear it click. The safety is functional as it bounces up to where it should be.

    Does any one here with the Prodigy has over travel on the thumb safety? Meaning you can push it slightly down after disengaging the safety. I wonder if this is common to the Prodigy.
